Yeah, I'm wondering if they're going to continue with the Swatello thing like you said or if they're just going to drop it, because Peter did seem really into reminding Jared that Ellen dumped him and Jared seemed to be trying to accept that, so I dunno... maybe they found out that writing a relationship was hard so they decided to bail by setting it on fire. Ugh.
I love that the show has really boned up on their continuity. I do hope that we've helped.
Leonard so totally split them up! I'm sure he noticed how weirdly close Jared and Peter were during grade school (and Peter not exactly being the kind of friend Leonard probably wanted Jared to have) and thought sending Jared to a different high school would work. And there was probably a big fight about it. And someone probably cried. It's was probably all very Romeo and Juliet-esque.
even though the kids know the story of the summer Dad and Pop were ten and how they've been together longer than they haven't, they still think they can pull one over on them and it becomes a challenge to see who can.
And they roll their eyes every time Peter and Jared start to tell the story. And then roll their eyes more at how ridic their fathers are. Like it was cute when their kids were, you know, kids, but it's kind of embarrassing when they're teenagers.
'wood' was so perfect. And 'should I get some clam chowder' was an adorable response to it.
