I can't believe we're already more than halfway done with this season.

Will the wall come down this ep? What shenanigans are going to take place?

Also, Damien has no motive to kill the judge. He was going to get what he wanted--the judge's seat on the bench. Without the judge, he doesn't get it.

I assume they're going to play where the last actual interaction any one saw with them was Damien flipping his shit at the judge. Which is terrible for Damien. And Stanton is probably going to have a rough time bing like 'well, Damien would never so anything, but, yes, I did see him threaten the judge...'. Awkward.

That's the beauty of the set up. Damien threatened the judge. He was angry. Only when the judge and Damien were alone did the I'm retiring and naming you thing get mentioned. Sadly, I think Damien's going down for this, at least briefly.
