101 - Pilot




This post is for any and all discussion of the pilot episode! Squee, deep thoughts, random questions, we will take them all. Your ~feelings filtered through the medium of dance, song, .gif, vulcan poetry, absolutely anything.

There weren't many of us for the rewatch, but it was really good fun. The chat room as far as I can work out just stays there for all time, so if people do want to organise other times to chat for whatever reason, feel free to use it whenever.

I remember the very first time I saw this episode, I could not for the life of me figure out what the living arrangements were. When they first rolled into the "office" in the morning and everyone was in their pyjamas and eating cereal, I thought maybe they just had the most casual office ever. I figured out Peter and Jared were living together, and then when Pindar interrupted Jared and Hannah's hookup the first time, Jared threatened to have sex in Pindar's bed, so then I realised Pindar lived there too. I don't think I even figured out Carmen lived there until after the episode. I guess I just didn't go into it expecting the entire law offices of Franklin & Bash to all live together in one big house, LOL. It's like the premise for a Saturday morning children's show.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out the living arrangements too, especially for Carmen. Because I didn't watch on the US schedule, I think I got more understanding about what was going on from reading fic than I did from the actual show!

Yes! I remember being confused about that. But it is such a lovely living arrangement when you realise it's true, it makes me so happy. I especially love that Jared's just going to have sex in Pindar's bed, I love the lack of boundaries.

It's like the premise for a Saturday morning children's show.

Oh! I love them so much. Maybe if Jared had an unhappy childhood very possibly he just loved happy tv land where everyone lived together and loved each other and has set up his life appropriately.
