Just stopping by to throw a few links to recent interviews up on the comm. I have been LOVING the new season but haven't been able to join in with the comment squee yet due to my stoopid job. I should totally get ten weeks F&B time off, right? Speaking of, where has the time gone?! I can't believe there's only one episode left of the season. Eeep!

Anyway, here are some interview links, because apparently they've been doing publicity throughout this season, which is lovely because it means that they aren't always tired and sad-looking all of the time! Most of these have been linked to on Twitter at some point so you may have already seen them. Good Day LA
This is an interview from this week promoting last night's episode. I have no idea what sort of program Good Day LA is - it looks like a breakfast show but the interview is certainly a little more adult than we get on UK breakfast telly! However, they are bickering like an old married couple, which is awesome!

Oh I love you and have missed you this season! I love the glee with which mpg has started pointing out that breckin has TWO CHILDREN, and breckin saying 'yeah you don't need to tell me' as if he hasn't been casually pretending to only have the one for YEARS.

And I hadn't seen that Good Day LA interview, laksdhfojwesdf. THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND THEY NEED TO BE RENEWED *RIGHT NOW* NOW. Breckin Meyer sits so much weirder than mpg, and I love them mocking tnt's terrible promo pics, and breckin talking about drew barrymore always makes me happy and I really liked the woman interviewer who was so in love with mpg in a really professional way.

OH GOD. I can't believe the episodes are going to stop, and they're not just going to fill in the next forty weeks with being interviewed endlessly which is really the only way I can see how we could get through that without breaking down in death. And I'm still not a secret hollywood producer who can force them to be in films together and I don't think anyone I know is either and it's still the only hiatus plan I can think of that makes sense.

I love how casually they're talking about the possibility of a season 4. I swear that this time last year there wasn't even a whisper about renewal and it's making me cautiously hopeful so they better not pull the rug out from under me!

MPG reminding Breckin how many children he has is brilliant, as is everything about the GDLA video where they're basically acting like a couple of naughty kids. And all of Breckin's interviews with Conan are awesome. As are the ones with Craig Ferguson.

I feel like we need some kind of master reference list of brilliant interviews we can watch and listen to during the 42 weeks of the year that Franklin & Bash isn't on!

I can't believe they don't love us enough to just make little mini episodes every week, or just give us pictures of them every day. Or maybe they'll film later this year again, so it won't be quiiiiite so long with absolutely nothing happening. Maybe they'll renew it tomorrow, then film it in september and we can have it for christmas. I could live with a whole season of christmas episodes tbh.

I love Breckin's dad's love for mark-paul SO MUCH. He's such a beautiful son in law.

This, so very much. I would love them forever if they gave us a Christmas episode. Or mini-episodes. Or just a season 4. I cannot contemplate a future that has no more F&B in it...

Don't. I know. I have to not think about it because ugh. And I swing between wild optimism and painful pessimism, sometimes from minute to minute. With Pindy leaving, and Carmen can't be happy, and it's been such a *good* season and it's so so so unfair if they don't make it FOREVER.

I share both your optimism and your pessimism! And it *has* been such a brilliant season - the best so far - that I can't understand why they *wouldn't* want to make it forever.

I have EVERYTHING crossed and it will remain so until we hear either way. Life could get a little difficult with everything corssed but we have to make sacrifices for fandom!!

I know, there's so much inappropriate touching in that interview - I love it!

I could literally sit and watch those two all day, even just watching them hang out would be awesome... Actually, isn't that basically what stalkers do? Okay, maybe I'll just cancel that order for surveillance equipment and step away from the night-vision goggles... ;o)

Just stalking is no good though, because despite their LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP they probably spend loads of time away from each other because mpg stupidly married A DIFFERENT PERSON. There has to kidnap and locking them in confined spaces, and THEN surveillance. It's a shame, but they sort of bring it on themselves by refusing to be on telly together at all times.

No! I don't like to think about them spending time apart! I like to think that MPG's stupid marriage to someone else is just a façade and they secretly live together like Peter and Jared! *puts down the tin hat*

I also love how we're basically justifying kidnap, imprisonment and surveillance by saying its their own fault for not being together all the time. We're so rational about our crimes, surely no jury would convict us?!

They did (if you believe the rumours that breckin has been kind of separated for quite a while) totally just meet each other and then leave their wives really quick. It makes total sense for the new wife to be a LIE who is really just giving them some cover and yet another baby because they love babies so much. That's more believable than the idea that mpg met breckin meyer and then MARRIED SOMEONE ELSE which I've never managed to wrap my brain around. I hope it's true, because if it's true we won't have to kidnap them to do our stalking which will lower the cost considerably. (Also it would be purely brilliant if out of all the massive popular rps fandoms there have ever been our tiny underloved one turned out to do the BEST MOST WINNING AMOUNT OF SUDDENLY COMING TRUE EVER.)

I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING AT THE WAY BRECKIN DESCRIBED HIS DAD AND MPG'S BIKE TEXTS AS "SEXTING"--"It's hot. It's erotic. It's weird."

ETA: Also laughed really hard at that Good Day LA interview. Idk who those presenters are (not familiar with American breakfast television...are they famous or is it a local show?) but they were like a bizarro alternate universe mirror of F&B/Breckin and MP. The way all of them were teasing each other was really cute. I broke down laughing when the lady said in a small voice, "Why is this about me?"

Breckin talks about MPGs relationship with his dad in a couple of those Conan interviews and his jealousy is adorable. I hope it's for comic effect though, and he doesn't really have daddy issues. Although... ;o)

I love that they get to do interviews where they mess about and have fun and touch each other now, because they're so much more fun than the ones where they have to answer the same dull questions and they look bored rigid!

Yes! I really loved that. I liked how confused they were that she was a child star but they didn't know her, and then it turned out she was a child star somehow in sports and they were just confused. But it was really nice how her co-presenter just wanted to interview her, and she just wanted to look at zack mor- Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
