yeah, he really didn't. Jared's on the other hand. Perfect casting. Looks like his growth spurt was like mine. I'm 5'2". I got my growth spurt early(10ish) and was taller than everyone else until i was 13. I was all arms and legs, just like him. XD

YES. They made her awesome then AND now. SO MUCH LOVE. And you could see the actress loving it, because that's how she's always talked about Carmen and then we hardly ever get to see it.

(Also Jared looked so tiny in court I nearly died.)

I LOVE the ice cream. And Jared asking Karp to join them, I love how they're wooing Hanna and Damien by offering to eat with them. And Jared being that cute when he invites people for ice cream, they're going to think that's a euphemism. Damien was clearly stuck in that corridor confused about what Jared's face was offering him.

Ok first off, 'Daniel Hardman' in F&B? From the New York office? Regardless of name differences they're in the same universe for me now and I want a meeting between Peter & Jared and Harvey & Mike. Though there might be a little too much gay lawyering going on.

As for the rest of the episode, I loved all the flashbacks, though I think I prefer my headcanon for Peter & Jared. But I do absolutely love that they've been going to the diner since such a young age.

Also, matching tattoos? Are they even trying to hide the love anymore? Because someone needs to tell them they're doing it wrong.

Everyone else was awesome in this ep too, especially Pindar, Carmen & Stanton. I'm glad we've got a more definitive idea of what Carmen did exactly because it's been a little hazy up until now. And Stanton just rocks everybody else out of the water.

Things I didn't like (or rather just thing); Jared and the associate. Mainly because I thought we'd gotten over the whole 'let's sleep with a case-related person' thing but also because it meant that his entire focus wasn't on Peter, and that's just not OK.

I can't believe that there's only one episode left and that we have to wait TWO weeks for it. Still, looks like it's gonna be a great season finale so I can't wait!

Did it seem odd that this had nothing to do with Hanna and Damien's plan to destroy Peter and Jared? Like, what was the point of even having that plot line?

I also thought that Jared's thing with the girl was going to be a bigger deal, but then it wasn't really? (not that I'm complaining, it's just... early press seemed to make a big deal out of it)

So Peter and Jared met randomly in 1988 while not being picked for some kid organized football game? Was Jared slumming it in the less fancy side of town? Why hadn't they met before? Where were they when they were younger? Did they ever even go to school together? I need context, people!

Peter as a chubby kid was too cute. And tall and lanky for his age Jared. Aww. And that they always sit on the same sides at the Diner. My feelings.

Ugh, their back story. Does it make sense?

They met in 1988... Pindar was 2000 (and they were in law school then)... I missed the date of their first trial (but Peter sounded so young! And angry! And worried that he was going to get disbarred! And Jared with the 'don't tase me bro!' thing... was their first case also in 07. because that's when the whole 'don't tase me bro' happened)... and Carmen was 2007. So, they were like 22/23/24 in 2000? Which means that they met at 11/12/13? My childhood headcanon is smashed to bits! *cries*

Damien at the end was too cute with his apologizing for sort of not being a terrific lawyer but also not wanting to tank them on purpose. And being asked out for ice cream and saying no, like how could you, Damien, how could you say no to Jared's face when it was being so bewildered-ly adorable at the idea that anyone wouldn't want to eat ice cream with them.

Was Hanna not even in this episode? Boo.

Also, did I remember wrong or they introduced themselves as Peter Bash and Jared Franklin? What kind of 11(?) year old introduced himself with their last name too? Sorry for the old lady rant coming, but when I was a kid, I only knew my classmates last names because the teacher took attendance...

Still, chibi!Jared is the cutest thing ever and I loved that they make Jared the one that 'forces' Peter into trouble in '88 and then again in '07, I bet chibi!Peter was this sad, lonely kid and Colleen was so worry he didn't have any friends, and then Jared showed up and Peter was all happy and that's why Colleen loves Jared so much...

I think the Damien/Hanna (mostly Hanna) thing died last week when she realized she was setting them up to fail just like the military Colonel did to the two women. Sigh.

Damien is a good lawyer (as we've seen in prior episodes and as Bash openly admitted in the last episode last year). I think the point Damien was making was that he made a mistake having a first year research that issue. I liked the come get ice cream with us--was cute in an inoffensive way.

I didn't mind the kiss, although come on TNT that hardly rated the 'S' . I was expecting naked ~~Elmo~~ Jared. In fact I got quite excited at he prospect of naked Jared.

I loved the flash backs and baby Jared and Peter. And that their timeline sort of kind of doesn't work and I don't care. And that Peter failed the bar twice and that Jared played polo and has a Rolex and got Peter to dress up as a kangaroo and that Damien wouldn't through them under the bus and and and

It's pretty much all LOVE.

Jared playing Polo. In a little outfit. And maybe Peter was a scared of the horses a bit, so Jared would have him make friends with a sweet older mare and have him feed her sugar cubes and brush her because she wasn't scary at all.

I bet Jared passed the bar the first time, but he took it twice just so Peter wouldn't feel like a loser.

Ugh... this'll be the longest two weeks of my life. Until after the finale and then my life will simply be an unending torment of waiting for F&B to return.

THIS EPISODE. So basically much of this was flailing, but I did really enjoy it! It wasn't as good as I wanted, didn't clear up half of the back story which was disappointing, but generally I liked it :)
