Oh Leonard, you and your terrible fathering. Also what is this idea that Peter is just casually helping someone with something rather than helping Jared with his father and his feelings and his FACE? Jared has a rubbish father, he deserves better boyfriending than that.

Okay, they're not looking at each other, but they're doing serious writing things down as if they know how to be lawyers. Right-handed lawyers, sometimes people ask me what handed they are and I get confused because in different things mpg is sometimes a little bit left handed, and Breckin is clearly just the exact sort of person who should be left handed, but no, right.



I love that Jared hates PE teachers, and Peter is just uncaring because he's made for sporting and will never understand.

God, I love that smile! It's just pure unadulterated love. I think my favourite thing about it might be that Peter is smiling at Jared for a good couple seconds before Jared even notices ♥

Do you think they're even aware or do you think they'd be completely oblivious until shown a highlight reel of all their moments and then they finally realise that damn, we really are in love XD

YES YES YES THAT. And his reaction to finding Peter just smiling at him with outrageous love in his eyes is just the cutest little smile of OH YOU STILL LOVE ME, THAT'S NICE, and then they have to gently look away from each other because otherwise they'd just be MELTING AND DYING. It's too pretty.

I don't know if you mean the characters or the actors for being oblivious. I can buy that Peter and Jared might be REALLY oblivious. I think they probably think they're just looking at each other and don't notice that LOVE IS POURING OUT OF THEIR EYES. And I think their whole being wrapped up in each other just feels so normal to them that they can't imagine it looking weird from the outside.

And as for the actors, I have no idea what they think they're doing. I know tv nowadays is very happy to court the slash, and they're big on the bromance. But I don't know if they know HOW BEAUTIFULLY they look at each other, or HOW IMPORTANT IT IS that they never leave each other and make tv together FOREVER because the universe NEEDS IT.

I did mean the characters but I COMPLETELY agree that MPG & Breckin should just continue to be awesome and beautiful together forever.

In a weird way it really makes me want more Peter/Janie backstory. I think it's pretty much headcanon in the entire fandom that Peter and Janie broke up because she couldn't compete with Jared (she practically admitted by telling Jared he'd won) I'd just like it to be confirmed.

I love that wedding ring gif. I'll say what I said on tumblr about because I think everyone needs to know my weird feelings about how it's like a terrible AU gif of the time they decided to get divorced. And they were both so mad at each other that they were like ‘you know what? I quit you.’ with their eyes. And Hanna and Damien are on the other side of the table trying to get them to deal with business and talk about who’s going to get custody of Carmen and Pindar and who gets the pool table and things of that nature. And it’s all very terrible.


I love that Jared hates pe teachers. It's probably because he's small.

Speaking of that this is the second week (that I've noticed) that they've said 'pussy', which I didn't think was a thing that could be said on tv but I guess it is now and it sort of startles me every time I hear it.

I am surprised by the use of the word pussy as well. TV is a weird place.

THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE WEDDING RINGS AND JUST USE THEM TO GET DIVORCED. Except for how amazingly beautiful Jared's eyes would be during a divorce, and the bickering they would do but it wouldn't be fun and it'd just hurt and so they'd stop and then they'd have this horrible quiet divorce and Hanna and Damien wouldn't even know what to do because they'd want to win but also they'd be sad despite themselves, and then Carmen would turn up cross and lock Peter and Jared in a room together until they stopped getting a divorce because it was awful.

If they were married with rings I can totally imagine them taking them off just like that at the slightest thing. 'Really? You like Stallone better than Van Damme? I am not your husband any more.'

Jared would have the best divorce eyes. Yes. And Peter wouldn't be able to deal with Jared's eyes. And so he'd never look at him (except for maybe Jared's back), and that'd make Jared even sadder.

This is a thing that would totally happen. And often. And when they actually filed for divorce no one would believe them because they've cried wolf so many times.
