It does. Yeah, but I wasn't really bothered by it because I went into the movie expecting it not too. I was really pleased by the Hannibal/Face subtext and interactions though. And Movie Murdock is so wonderful, haha. Yeah, I was a little disappointed at the lack of Billy. I think he's pretty essential to Murdock's character and the series in general, so I don't understand why they chose not to include him.

I didn't expect it to be like the movie, but your are right billy is a necessity for Murdock. I love the part when he stitched up BA xD. The Hannibal/Face subtext made me squee like a fan girl in the movie theater, which got me weird looks xD. Kanda/Lavi FTW :D though i do like Lavi/Allen as well. For some reason i don't really like Kanda/Allen...it bugs me.
