I'm doing a kind of links round up post and then bunging a load of other stuff on the end, it's long and messy and I apologise in advance.
These are the upcoming episode synopses for episodes 3 to 5:
203. Jared and Peter run into two lawyers defending one of Infeld's ex-wives. Jared and Peter notice a lot of themselves in the two lawyers they have to try and prove that the ex-wife didn't kidnap a dog. Karp has to work with Pindar on a robbery case but it may not be solved because the partnership could be broken due to Pindar's odd quirks.
204. Jared has to be a small claims court judge in order to get rid of a citation, and he makes a ruling that doesn't go over well with the rock and roll community, Jared and his dad battle and over the case of the rock and roll icon. Infeld tries to clear his spiritual adviser from the charge of fraud.
205. Peter is asked to defend a high profile judge after facing arrest due to an affair with a lawyer. Peter is closer to falling in love with Janie. Meanwhile Karp defends a friend from college who has to prove his sexual orientation so he can keep his trophy.
Here are a few gifs from last week's ep:

Breckin Meyer and MPG were interviewed on some awful radio station after episode one aired, and it's online here: http://kroq.radio.com/2012/06/06/kb-podcast-wednesday-june-6th-mark-paul-gosselaar-breckin-meyer-the-briggs-more/ They're not in until a fairly long way in, maybe an hour, so I'd recommend downloading it and skipping forward. It's just quite sweet, if you love everything they ever say. I love Breckin being funny about mpg's cycling and love for cycling, so it was good for me. And they had a petty argument about whether they'd ever played basketball. <3
And in the latest episode of Men At Work, which Breckin wrote, he had one of the characters say this, which is just nice because Breckin doesn't mention Ryan that often any more, but their love is still quite true:
"It's better to lose [your girlfriend] to Ryan Gosling than Ryan Reynolds. Bad example, they're both stunning. Okay, Ryan Phillippe? No. Seacrest? [shakes head] Are there no ugly Ryans?"
And I'm going to put this here as well, it's my attempt to make a map of the cave. It is not a great attempt, and so far in season 2 there are barely any clues about bedrooms or bathrooms which is what we actually need, but it's here in case it's helpful to anyone:

- this is based purely on episodes 201 and 202.
- the multiple lines around the office and kitchen are steps, not walls.
- obviously I haven't done space very well, none of this is remotely to scale.
- and there are pillars and little walls all over the place.
- and the library is almost certainly not that shape
- the telly is on the wall with the hot tub outside it, next to the settee.
- there are two doors we don't know where go, so bedrooms and bathrooms?
And here are some screencaps to show vaguely evidence/proof/whatever:

Click to make that one bigger, it's a nice panning shot they did of the top wall of the plan, all cut and pasted together. From the office to the kitchen to the lounge bit.

That's the kitchen seen from the office bit.

That's the table outside the library, looking into the library.

That's the library.

That's looking at the left hand wall of the plan I drew. So it's the front door, and the office back wall, and a green rug. I like that the cave has bits of green in it.

That's the same wall, seen from a bit further back, so you can see the bar and pool table.

And that's from the front door. Ish.
(A couple of these pictures are from this, where they talk about how they'veruined changed the sets for season two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rygmsZXh0Ww&feature=relmfu)
The library has doors going EVERYWHERE, which I think probably means that the door to the left of the front door links up with the library somewhere. This might also be why Peter seems to be wandering from the direction of the library the morning after the party, while Jared is asleep on the couch. It might also be why he takes Wendy that way at the end of episode 2. I still like to think that Peter and Jared have rooms near each other on one side of the house, and Pindar and Carmen on the other, but I have no evidence.
It's also my happy belief that Jared and Peter share a bathroom, because when Peter sleeps with Lily Jared complains about the mess they made, and also they complain about toe nails and shaving and stuff. So that bathroom we see in the pilot - and I know the pilot was another cave altogether - in Jared's room that Pindar is showering in, I like to think then meets Peter's room on the other side perhaps somehow, I don't know. I didn't delve too far into the bedrooms of season 1 because I can't work out how much they've moved everything round and I thought it would probably just make me cry trying to think about it.
There are windows in the top wall in the kitchen and office, so wherever that door in the lounge leads, it must be a sticky out bit.
And that is the fullness of my over thinking the plan of the cave, which is something they could easily just GIVE US, rather than make us guess at.

Date: 2012-06-18 07:24 pm (UTC)It's just something we're going to have to live through, and hope that it results in lots of Jared angst and eyes and comforting. It should be really good for that. I'm trying to be positive. But yes. UGH.
I love the kissing. I love her for just pulling up his shirt a bit. And ugngngns just touching his hair.
