OH GOD Jared's face

Jared was throwing such epic puppy eyes I couldn't contain myself. Like everything was so wrong. His whole world was upside down. *flutters*

I want them to run away and chase ambulances. Or go and work in dusty law offices in the deep south, possibly in the past, where all lawyers work in my head. Or go and defend poor people, or make Infeld Daniels set up a decent pro bono section and be in charge of it. I can't cope with Jared having to be evil just because Peter wants to be normal. And I know, I know! they won't really be evil, but they were a bit evil, and sold out for helicopters and skiing. And was Debbie not there? I want EVERYTHING TO BE THE WAY IT WAS. I want Peter to mend it.

Jared is giving up everything because of how much he wants Peter to be happy. He sees how much Peter wants to be a partner. And at a large firm. And he knows it's be nice to really pay Pindar and Carmen. But it all hurts his soul.

...this is the start of his breakdown where he thinks Bear is talking to him. Tragic!

If this all culminates in Bear, it is suddenly so much better! And it's [This next bit is a vague spoiler about the end of the season from an interview, I will give space]









it's quite nice knowing that they're leaving themselves space to actually LEAVE and NOT BE EVIL at the end of the season if they need it. Leaving and not being evil might be a nice thing PEter decides Jared deserves, and he might elope with him and they can go and teach surfing and being beautiful in . . . somewhere else. Yes. Good.

Oh god, and all the stuff about making Pindar and Carmen secure was just LOVE, and so sort of real and true, and I do like that they get to wear more expensive suits, although it's TERRIBLE and will break Jared's heart, and JLdkfhowejknsdf.

I am going to believe, until proven otherwise, that this all results with Jared having a breakdown involving Bear and Peter having to make the tough decision to leave Infeld Daniels and take Jared somewhere soft and quiet.

(but they make a deal with Damien and Hanna to take Pindar and Carmen so that they'll always be taken care of)

If season 3 is literally just about Peter MENDING JARED and making up for having ruined their lives and made them rich and terrible and having quietly let Jared's dad win all sort of by mistake, then it might be the best thing in the universe ever. Glory.

I'm sorry, I am so sorry. I am being a terrible fan and ruining happiness, I didn't mean to, I'm sorry. In a moment my download will work, and I will have pictures of Peter dressed as a toy gladiator and MPG failed to be in Spartacus which is one of the MAJOR wrongnesses of Spartacus, and this is making up for it SO MUCH, and I will just look at him and be insanely happy again.

I just collapsed a bit inside, and forgot to do it in the privacy of my own journal.

No, no! It's a lovely kind of pain! We need to talk these things out. I'm not bothered by it anyway... I mean, hello, I'm all about their tragic existence and how minute show changes could lead to epic tragicness.

::clings to you:: You are quite quickly taking EVERYTHING that is worrying and sad about change and reminding me that it's all just reasons for Jared to cry and fall apart inside and make beautiful eyes at Peter. Which really helps. I'm sort of confused about why I thought the AWFULNESS OF CHANGE was a bad thing.
