~ 2oz Raspberry Vodka
~ 2oz Peach Schnapps
~ Lime Margarita Mix
~ 1oz Sprite
Instructions:
In a 16oz cup, combine all of the ingredients with ice and garnish with gummy bears... And drink with Bear!!

Okay, so there has been precious little F&B activity in recent weeks. I can only assume that this is because they're gearing up for the promotional tour, which appears to start at the end of this week. I have my fingers crossed for all manner of shenanigans, plus the photographic evidence to back up said shenanigans. They're going to be in Las Vegas, for crying out loud - I'm pretty sure that has RPS written all over it! ;o)
It was Breckin's birthday on May 7th, and although there was no birthday tweet for him from MPG (dude, what's that all about?) there was a very nice picture posted by Seth Green:
I like to think that this was the first stage of him being gift wrapped for my birthday. I'm still waiting for that delivery, btw...
They've also released (most of) the episode titles for Season 2 - they're hiding under the cut for people who are avoiding spoilers in all their forms.

I am officially VERY excited by the title of episode 2.04 alone...!
Finally, because I had to have a wisdom tooth removed on Monday, which left me feeling very sorry for myself, I decided to have a little re-watch of some Season 1 (because nothing takes your mind off the gaping hole in your head like some epic bromance). This got me thinking about all the reasons why I love the show so much, which produced a list that looked a little something like this:
1) Breckin Meyer.
2) The way that Peter and Jared look at each other.
3) The fact that the Man Cave has a hot tub.
4) Breckin Meyer's smile.
5)The fact that all of Peter and Jared's arguments are about Janie and Jared's dad.
6) The epicness that is Malcolm McDowall.
7) Breckin Meyer.
8) The fabulous dialogue.
Yeah, there may have been codeine involved...! But taking the most sensible point in that list (number 8, in case anyone was wondering!) what are some of your favourite quotes from Season 1? The lines that make you laugh like a loon? The little throwaway lines that can be spun into fic? I've chucked in a few of my favourites to get the ball rolling...
So, come and share some of your favourite quotes... Or share something that you wish they'd actually said... Or something that you hope they'll still say in Season 2?! Date: 2012-05-16 05:55 pm (UTC)It's only your last wednesday post because for HAPPY REASONS of us getting episodes, so not too much crying. It's just THREE WEEKS now. lajsdhfoiwejfsdf. (Also I hadn't seen the dates for the new eps, it looks like they're going to show them straight through and not make us have horrible gap weeks, that's good of them at least, after these 40 something weeks of no episodes at all.)

I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THEM.
I think one of my favourite bits is the bit where Peter tells Hanna that she'll never work out with Jared because she doesn't name stuff after herself. And when Peter tells Jared that the mile high club doesn't count if you're on your own, which I love because of the SMILING, I love that they happily interrupt conversations just to make each other smile, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. And they crossed the line ten exits back. And 'you'd better be, Jared', 'you'd better be Peter'. And when Jared says his school wanted a great lawyer alumni or something, and Peter asks if they found one, again because it makes them SMILE and with added sunshine. And the bit in the clip of s2 where Peter wants Jared to be SO CUTE HE'S TERRIFYING, but Jared wants nicknames that go together. I love basically EVERYTHING THEY SAY TO EACH OTHER, so I will stop.
I am so sorry about your tooth. I feel really sure that we're technologically advanced enough now that they could get way better at dentistry if they tried and they're just not trying and I don't know why.

Oh, I love that quote, I'd totally forgotten about it. I did think about you when I used the 'Peter winning Jared's appeal for him' quote though... Actually, I could have pretty much gone on and on with the quotes until I had the transcripts for all 10 episodes! And as much as I love all the dialogue in Season 1 (and the looking and smiling) I'm so very happy that we're going to get a whole 10 episodes of new dialogue (and looking and smiling) in just a couple of weeks. And even if it's all rubbish, even rubbish F&B has to be better than no F&B at all, right?!

I know someone who has interviewed him a couple of times and she can't speak more highly of him as a person. It's always a relief to find out someone whose work you admire isn't a jerk.

(I'm assuming that by 'bouncy house' they mean a large inflatable house-type-construction that kids play in - what we call a bouncy castle in the UK, because we're fancy - otherwise I have no idea what they're talking about and I could very well produce some highly suspect fic based on my incorrect assumption!)
