A Wadliegh is apparently Rum and Whiskey and Doctor Pepper. I am +1 in favour of these things. There were amounts, but they weren't equal amounts of each, so they were wrong.
Hello!I have no new pictures from the set, because they apparently spilt all their awesome last week.
I told a lie, because I wrote this post hours ago, and then didn't check, but there are new things!
There is a picture of an actress I don't know the name of, on roller skates, on the set: here
And there is apparently a video of Breckin and MPG being interviewed on set at a roller derby, but I can't make it play on my computer. It's here, at accesshollywood. (Ohhhhhhh, I made it play, oh they are so ADORABLE.)
As well as that we got Breckin looking slightly sad and creepy from Seth Green's twitter, and then here's a random picture of mpg too, just to keep things even:

Also this week there was an article on tvline, saying:
"Shiri Appleby [Liz from Roswell] has booked a multi-ep arc in Season 2 of TNT’s legal dramedy.
TVLine has learned that Appleby will play the “smart and sassy” associate of an Infeld-Daniels senior partner, who comes to town to investigate possible misconduct on the part of the titular attorneys. However, she’ll quickly realize she’s in over her head when romantic feelings begin to develop between herself and Jared (played by Breckin Meyer)."
I like that the sound of investigations into their misconduct, that could be awesome. I'm less sold on the need for all these multi-episode romantic interests, but I know that's very clichéd of me. Mostly I just wish they would GIVE US SEASON TWO NOW ALREADY, instead of making me wait and worry about it.
In the place of new shiny pictures, I have instead put up some videos of older bits of Breckin and MPG's career. (At the moment youtube is playing nice and letting them have video AND audio, apparently in all the countries. Let me know if that's changed and you want to see them, I'll put them somewhere else.)
This is Breckin in LA Law, in 1990. He's on the stand talking about his mum being abused by his dad:
And this is shirtless Breckin in 1993. He's all pale and tiny. It's Crosses on the Lawn, which is an after school special about racism. And he's being talked into a racist t-shirt:
And then here he is in 2008 in Corporate Affairs, having sex with someone who isn't his wife with swedish subtitles:
Here's Mark-Paul Gosselaar in Beer Money in 2001. It's a TERRIBLE film, but he's topless for a bit in it. He's topless for a bit in most things. Er, to make this clip make sense you have to know that he went round to Harmony's work, and the guys think he slept with her, but he didn't, he just had explosive diarrhoea in her loo, and that's what he thinks she's cross about. They are teasing their friend about having some sci fi porn, they haven't actually raped him. And before all that the guys found an alien, and shot at it. Like I say, it's a TERRIBLE FILM. MPG is kind of lovely in it, though. In places. Because he is ALWAYS LOVELY.
And this is him in Law and Order: SVU, being BEAUTIFUL IN GREY:
And then later in the same episode, being gorgeous against a wall:
And this is MPG on Murphy Brown in 1990:
I've also uploaded a couple of bits from the deleted scenes from Robot Chicken, which
fobmarwi was lovely enough to link me to. They're dvd extras where they've taken clips that didn't make it into the show, and made the writers talk about them and why they didn't work. Although actually these are just little bits of Breckin Meyer shooting things at Seth Green, or making fun of Doug Someone-or-other for HATING EVERYTHING:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7bSA0wBp6A
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7V5qPbG-tkw
And this is a wtf post, so comment with anything you like, about the show or not. Let us know how things are going, worry with me that somehow they're going to ruin everything in season 2, or chill with me about how it's PROBABLY FINE, randomly write me a 30 000 word epic about Franklin and Bear, tell me what the weird smell in my sitting room is. Anything.

Date: 2012-02-03 09:56 pm (UTC)Ahem... Seriously adorable interview though. And I am all kinds of hopeful that the Season 2 DVD extras will feature footage of them being dorks on skates. And having their asses kicked by the Derby Dolls!
And then making out in the back row of the seats where they think no-one can see them...Yeah, I'll be shutting up now. [g]

Date: 2012-02-01 10:02 pm (UTC)OMG, I loved them in that interview! and Breckin complementing MPG's ass, wdlskafjlgkñ and he did it while wearing a vest, that's always adorable.
WHY THERE'S NO PICTURES OF THEM ON ROLLERS!???
tell me what the weird smell in my sitting room is
I'm guessing a sitting room is a room with couches and chair like a living room, so it's more like food...Too bad I can't send you my nose, I'm pretty good at following smells...

Date: 2012-02-01 10:50 pm (UTC)They say in the interview that they're not going to skate in the episode:( I am a bit cross with them for that. But if they were GENUINELY going to have a go at it themselves after filming was over, SURELY there should be pictures.
And yes, the ass comment was BEAUTIFUL. I especially like MPG afterwards saying quietly that it was okay to say it on camera. <33333333333
A sitting room is a living room, yes. I actually found the smell, it's some weird paper logs I've brought in for my fire, I am going to have to set fire to them soon because they stink.

Date: 2012-02-01 11:05 pm (UTC)Wow, Beer Money does look spectacularly bad but I do so want to see more of that blonde hair, I just love it. And did he say that he was doing porn to make money in SVU? Did any examples of his work happen to make it into the episode? I'm asking for a friend... [g] I just want to put 1990 MPG next to 1990 Breckin and marvel at the epic cuteness!
In conclusion, today's fix of F&B-related awesomeness has been achieved, why can I not watch the Access Hollywood interview and why is it not June yet?!

Date: 2012-02-01 11:27 pm (UTC)His hair is SCARY in beer money like they must have done just awful things to it, but I did grow really attached to it.
The episode of Law and Order is AMAZING. They think he's been raped, but actually he's gay for pay, to pay for his daughter's medical bills. HE IS SO SPECTACULARLY PRETTY and he's all hurt and small and pretty, and I love him with his daughter. It's the best episode of anything ever. But no, they don't actually SHOW YOU the gay porn that he made. They just make him talk quietly about it in rooms.
We're totally getting CLOSER to June.

Date: 2012-02-02 08:50 am (UTC)Oh how I wish I could write you an epic tragic 30000 word tale of Jared and Bear... for it would be epic and tragic. Full of woe. And tears. And Jared being tied up multiple times. ...but, alas, the pictures in my head won't fall out into the computer for me. Tragic.
It did get me to thinking that Jared and Peter should go camping, like with a tent... And maybe there's a puma or something snuffling outside, and Jared's worried that it's going to eat him, so his fear kind of immobilizes him in his sleeping bag (it's like he's being tied down, but metaphorically), but it's really only Peter (who, for some reason, wanted his own tent), because it turns out that it gets cold at night so Peter then thinks it'd be a good idea for them to share a sleeping bag, which is awkward at first, but then it's warm and soft. Or something. I don't know. Possibly sasquatch is involved. Like, their client claims they saw sasquatch and Jared and Peter have to go to the woods to "investigate"... really they just fool around in the sleeping bag. Maybe it's a whole Infeld-Daniels outing. Campfires. Marshmellows. Jokes about pitching tents. Damien thinking that he's super good at nature-ing, but really anything he succeeds at is actually Hanna's doing and he ends up with poison ivy.
...I want epic out of office adventures for the whole team so badly. We need field trips. I know Stanton would approve.
I also want Breckin and Seth to have a show together where they're just adorable goofs with each other the whole time. How has that not happened. It's no fair that that could be being filmed, while the make Robot Chicken.
Your description of Beer Money is too perfect. I feel watching the clip will ruin it's perfection for me.

Loved the roller-derby interview. Breckin should really compliment Mark-Paul's ass more often. The words suit him :P

Date: 2012-02-02 07:54 pm (UTC)Don't they, though? He was properly like 'yeah, your thighs are good, but YOUR ASS'. I can't believe they're not going to film them chasing each other around roller derby and falling over and mocking each other.
Multi-episode romances? Do. Not. Want.
It seems like a strange thing to waste your time on in a show where the season is only 10 episodes long.

Date: 2012-02-02 08:02 pm (UTC)I know! If they really loved us, they'd do just that.
It seems like a strange thing to waste your time on
Exactly. We don't want recurring love interests, we want bromance and crazy lawyering, goddamnit!

Date: 2012-02-02 07:53 pm (UTC)Jared has no need for romantic partners apart from Peter.
THIS. EMPHATICALLY THIS.
Except . . . unless they're just doing it so we can have REALLY JEALOUS PETER, proving that he takes better care of Jared than anyone else ever could, and yes, casually cooking for him and buying him things, and taking him on dates disguised as not-dates.
I feel that if you are seeking perfection, not watching Beer Money is the best choice.
