Okay, in the ongoing battle to find cocktails that start with the letter 'W', I thought this one sounded delicious! And surely anything that is supposed to be served with a paper parasol can't be wrong... [g]
Ingredients:
~ 1 measure of white rum
~ 1 measure of peach schnapps
~ ½ measure of vodka
~ 3 measures of orange juice
~ 3 measures of lemonade
~ ¼ measure of lemon juice
~ Couple of drops grenadine
~ Handful of crushed ice
Instructions:
Add all ingredients apart from the lemonade and grenadine to a cocktail shaker, shake and strain into a tall glass. Top up with the lemonade and add a few drops of grenadine. Serve with a slice of lemon and a paper parasol.
So, how've you all been...? New Year blues set in yet...? Wishing it was June already...? Running out of ways to keep the F&B love alive during this horribly long hiatus...? Tell us how you're coping...
If you're anything like me, you've watched every inch of Breckin and Mark-Paul's careers that you can get your hands on (or that you can bear to sit through!) and the 10 episodes of Season One have been watched so many times that you can now lip-synch along with the dialogue! Even my TV can sense how bad it's getting, because during the last weekend, it gave me 'Atomic Twister', 'Garfield 2', 'Rat Race' and 'Herbie Fully Loaded'. When your own household appliances appear to be gifting you with healthy doses of the F&B cast, you know it's bad! (Although I will say that this post from yesterday has helped considerably!)
And so, because I have been spending a considerable proportion of my time Google mining for pretty pictures recently (and because the boys have been nowhere near as generous on Twitter as they were last week), I have some adorable Breckin / Mark-Paul randomness for you...
I've noticed when I click on the Google Image links (and having 'Safe Search' off for this really does help!) that sometimes, instead of being redirected to the usual entertainment news-type sites, I end up in a random gay chat forum - it seems our boys have something of an appreciative following! There were a few quotes that made me absolutely roar with laughter, so I thought I'd just share them with you:
I have no words other than - yummy!

"Breckin and Mark-Paul, sittin' on a shelf..." No, that doesn't quite work, does it?!

Hmm, they look suspiciously excited in this picture...

OMG, I'm totally in love with how much Breckin's feet do not touch the floor. Also - Jazz hands!

Mad skillz - he haz them!

Damn, they are so good with doors - there should be more door pictures!

Just being randomly gorgeous...

And just in case they were in danger of becoming too gorgeous, here they are playing golf. Nope, no man looks good playing golf...

"Breckin Meyer has been a major crush of mine since I first saw him in [Clueless]. Talk about being snugglable!! Great body, handsome face, intelligent and sexy!! What else can a guy hope for?!?!"
"It is true, Breckin Meyer is a little guy. But clearly good things come is small packages. I LOVE HIM!"
"I guess [Mark-Paul] goes to the tanning bed nude. Now if anyone has THOSE pictures, I want to see them."
"Great to see Mark-Paul again but let's not forget that little package of dynamite Breckin Meyer, he is so cute I want to gobble him all up."
"[Mark-Paul] does have a beautiful ass! I just saw that tonight. I also want to see Breckin Meyer's ass too. I think he is so cute. In fact the two of them need to make gay porn together and just get it over with."Come on, 'fess up - which one of you has been posting on these sites! ;o) Anyway, on to the random pretty (apologies if any of these have been posted before - then again, can you really have too much of these two?)...

Date: 2012-01-18 07:34 pm (UTC)Those comments were strangely similar to the ones here, did you really enter a gay chat room or you just copy paste past comm comments?? XD
I was coping remarkably well with just fic until yesterday when that video showed up on my inbox, and now I want to see them now, not June, NOW!
Is Rat Race any good? IMDB says Atomic Twister isn't, although I liked to watch more MPG's movies, I only have Dead Man on Campus which is AWESOME, the zig-zag run on burglar outfit!!! He should do that with Breckin too!!

Date: 2012-01-18 11:06 pm (UTC)It's not really worth sitting through, I couldn't hand on heart say that, no. Although I only found a really bad copy of it, which probably didn't help. I think I've wiped most of it from my memory. It was very very teenage boy fart jokes and sex jokes and blahblkshdlf. I don't know. It's rubbish. BUT I LOVE HIS FACE.

Date: 2012-01-18 11:03 pm (UTC)Personally, I think that 'Rat Race' is one of the best films that Breckin's done. He isn't in it that much, but it's very funny all the same. 'Atomic Twister' was terrible (not as bad as '12 Dates...' though) but I found myself starting to forgive it an awful lot once it had given me MPG in shorts, a policeman's uniform, a fireman's uniform and a damp white t-shirt! I'm nothing if not deeply shallow!
Is 'Dead Man On Campus' actually good then? I'd kind of given up on the hope that he'd done anything worth watching but I might have to give that one a go.

Date: 2012-01-18 11:10 pm (UTC)Otherwise his films are all very tv movie-y, he's in lots of brilliant serieses, but not so much the films. Watch his episode of Law and Order, it's amaze.

Date: 2012-01-18 08:07 pm (UTC)Somebody called MPG's butt 'generic' and someone else said it was probably a stunt butt. SHAME ON THOSE PEOPLE.
God, they're good at being near each other, aren't they? Sometimes I forget until I see them again. And they're REALLY good at doors, they should have sex in doorways. They should have earthquake sex, that's probably when doorways are most at play.

Date: 2012-01-18 10:54 pm (UTC)I love that the MPG quotes came from a forum that essentially became 2-3 pages of an homage to his ass. And the 'stunt butt' quote was hilarious! I also love that somewhere in the world there have been gay men having exactly the same debates as F&B fangirls and being all 'I love him!' [flail]!
They should have earthquake sex, that's probably when doorways are most at play.
LOL - Something there for the doorway afficionados *and* those who have a kink for danger sex!

Date: 2012-01-18 10:47 pm (UTC)Oh, you shouldn't be embarrassed - it probably means that you have much better taste in films! Honestly, I have sat through some utter crap in pursuit of the Breckin love and it looks like I am now following suit with MPG! [rolls eyes]
