TV Rage - "A family is torn as one side sues the other over a priceless 1988 home-run baseball in a case that pits Jared against his own father. Meanwhile, Peter works with Hanna on defending a reality television father who is affectionately known as the "Douchey Dad." And Karp comes to Pindar for help on a top-secret project involving a compromising video."

I have no idea why Mondays are so impossible, but it's a Tuesday again already, so there we are.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS EPISODE. I love the a-plot, I love the b-plot, and I love the c-plot. I love Jared's daddy issues, and Peter's understanding, I love THEIR IMMENSE ALL CONSUMING LOVE, I love their prettiness, I love Damien/Pindar, I love Hanna and Carmen and all the guest characters. I love Peter and Jared on the bridge and in the diner and in court and in their kitchen and in prison.
You should comment and discuss intricate things and I will attempt to have thoughts, but ALL MY THOUGHTS are OH MY GOD THE LOVE, so I don't know how it'll go.
(We're going to go with Sunday again for the rewatch next week, 8pm UTC. Zippychat is throwing people out quite regularly now, so we're using Skype - just the IM function, no video calling. It's very easy to set up, and you can either find me there or just leave a comment and we'll work something out.)

Date: 2011-11-08 11:53 pm (UTC)It's nice to see a bit more of Damien in this episode, especially as his scenes with Pindar are hilarious!
Oh, what the hell... 'JARED'S DADDY!ISSUES! SQUEE!!' (Yeah, I got nothing...)

Date: 2011-11-10 12:26 am (UTC)I really love how well fitted in everyone is in this episode, they give pretty much all their secondary characters really nice bits and pieces, and it doesn't feel rushed, or badly paced (to me at least). I LOVE IT LIKE SUGAR.
THEY PUT JARED IN PRISON AND HE DIDN'T CALL PETER AND HE SAT AND WAS SAD and his dad put him in prison before, when he was young and small and OH MY GOD, prison. Basically that is my main thought tonight.

Date: 2011-11-11 03:31 am (UTC)I bet he tried to be all macho and fine about having been in prison and said it was no big deal and then CRIED ABOUT IT INSIDE FOR WEEKS, and then eventually got drunk and told Peter how scared he was.

Date: 2011-11-09 08:15 am (UTC)That diner scene at the end has one of my favourite Breckin-laughed-for-real-and-didn't-break-character moments, after Peter/MP makes that "your mom" joke. So good. So cute. <3

Date: 2011-11-09 04:37 pm (UTC)You have a point there! I can't stop imagine Pindar as Damien's mistress

Date: 2011-11-09 11:45 pm (UTC)Also, Pindar is canonically impressed by Damien's penis. Your argument is invalid.
Yeah, you got me there. That bit really is awesome! ;o)

Date: 2011-11-09 11:58 pm (UTC)But anyway, yes. OH GOD Damien and Pindar are so GOOD, I love how even in their few episodes they're just brilliant and you can totally see different ways their relationship might develop. I was a tiny bit resistant to shipping them, because it feels so much like 'putting the secondary characters together just because', but they're PROPERLY SLASHY TOGETHER and I love them.
