If I'm honest, my episode ended here. My epic bromance shows don't go around making their final scene be Jared dancing with a girl.

(Possibly my highlight of the whole episode was when Jared had a scene that was disappointingly heterosexual, but he wore a waistcoat without a jacket but BUTTONED UP. I kind of flailed pathetically. SO GOOD.)

He *is* AMAZING. I suppose we should have known that Jared wouldn't love him if he wasn't. I am so glad I love them, I am so glad I watched them, I am so so so glad they are coming back.

I have taken all the pain killers, and LiveJournal doesn't email me comments any more.

SOmeone should SEW UP his waistcoats, so that the awful open waistcoat thing isn't even an option.

And yes, the cockblocking was AWESOME. He even made Jared say his bit first so that he could hold out and disappoint him RIGHT AT THE END when he thought he would be allowed sex. I love them.

I know! I have turned it into flat view, (http://yellowrose2167.livejournal.com/16769.html?view=flat&page=16#comments) which helps a lot, but one of the best things livejournal does is email you when fic is happening. It is sad when that stops.

Esp because Jared didn't want the sex in the first place. He was all focused on work... and everyon else was all 'go do it!'.

Oh, he didn't even think about it, and I really liked Peter sending him off to a girl and then looking slightly sad. Well on one level I did, on another level I worry a little tiny bit that he thinks Jared is too caught up on him, and sort of encourages him in heterosexuality and that it is kind of a thing between them, and I don't really think it, I just don't want any more canon that slightly supports it because it's so sad if Peter isn't okay with their love and Jared is, and it's a sort of issue. I don't know.

No, no I totally feel you. I always get this niggling feeling that jared is way more ...classical in love? with Peter than Peter is with him, because Peter is still harboring under this 'I'm straight. Hetero-romantic and heterosexual.' deal, while Jared just accepts that they're total life mates. Jared even looked a bit put out that maybe the girl was too into him.

OH, PETER. He will have to get over that because Jared has already had to suffer through the whole Janie thing, if Peter tries to be seriously heterosexual about anyone else his heart will just crumble and it isn't fair.

I wonder if next season we'll get to see how badly the whole Janie thing effected Jared, because he's really pissy about it.
