WHY DO THEY EVER LEAVE THE DINER? The diner is amazing. And happy. And safe. And beautiful. IT IS FULL OF GAY LOVE AND INCREDIBLE SMILES. I love that diner.

On the other hand, two episodes without Hanna? Has she been disappeared because I love her and that isn't fair.

I'll admit some episodes put me off in some parts, but this one was fabulous all the way through. I feel like the dialogue was better in this episode and all of Jared's ~moments~ made me laugh. Like when he was alone (and totally jelly of Nathan and Peter), the "She's my mom." line, and when Peter said "I am now his bitch." ...And the hug at the end :3

This episode also made me wonder about the canon more too... Jared and Peter went to different high schools, so were they friends before? How did they react to the split? I'm filling these gaps in with my own headcanon for now, I guess. ...It's very bromantic and fluffy.

As much as I love this episode, the fact that they didn't attend the same High School TOTALLY screwed with my backstory!fanon. I was like "WHUT?!?". But if you think about it, it only makes their epic bromance/gay love even more epic. That Peter knows all these stuff about Jared and vice versa means that they had to talk about that time a great deal. So now I imagine them going to Junior High together (also because I won't rewrite that part of my backstory!ff *cough*), and then Leonard got fed up with their co-dependency and decided to send Jared to a private school. However, he only succeed in making Jared act up 'cause he missed Peter and having gigantic telephone bills 'cause the boys called each other every single day.

I thought of you! But I think it being Junior High and then them being purposefully split up makes total sense, and I totally agree with how lovely it is that they're still THAT CLOSE when they could easily have been making other friends who they would spend all their time with. And they probably both got teased and stuff for liking someone from the posh/unposh school, and clearly didn't care. I LOVE THEIR LOVE.

The more fanfiction we have in our little fandom the better! And who am I to deny any of us more of F&B fanfiction? So, in conclusion: I can't wait to see what your take on their childhood is!

Peter's 'I am now his bitch' was HEAVENLY. I really loved that whole scene.

I loved Jared saying that sometimes lies get traction and you get to be a different person, because if his whole thing is a front he learned in high school then . . . lkdsahdfkjasdf, I don't know. I just love it. I love that Peter hugged him when he had a moment of confusion. I love that Peter was okay with him sleeping with a woman because straight afterwards he came to dinner with Peter and not her.

And I *LOVE* that they didn't go to the same high school. That they are so close, much closer than people they actually spent all their school time with, makes me gleeful. Everything about them makes me gleeful.

I will stop telling you things I love now yes.

DON'T STOP (Belieeevinngggg). Sorry, I had to. But guh, I saw Breckin Meyer on Craig Ferguson on July 20th, and they showed a clip of that scene and I had to replay it over to make sure I was hearing correctly. (Fabulous interview too!)

I feel like he was picked on a lot probably in high school, but did have his friends, but none as close as Peter despite the fact they attended different schools. AND THE HUG. Peter got all protective when he saw Jared thinking of the tough times from high school.

Oh, I totally missed that Craig Ferguson clip when I was watching the whole of youtube the other day. I saw him when he was on in April, but had missed that one. He is quite lovely. Breckin, I mean. I am kind of surprised by not hating him. I know that might sound weird but still.

Peter was totally insanely beautiful when Jared suddenly became his teenage self again right in front of his eyes. And also he was maybe still feeling a bit wrong from man-hugging Nathan and needed to put it right and had been ITCHING to hug Jared from the moment he saw him and took a great opportunity. I love that they hugged, it was so ridiculous and so obvious and yet I can't really stop watching it. I love Jared's face afterwards. Also Peter's face. Also EVERYTHING.

Me too! It, like, went from 'yeah, okay I'm cool. I'm rolling with it' to 'I HAD HUG! IT WAS AWESOME!!'. I don't know how Breckin can express all that in half a second, but he does.

Though, I don't know what was up with MPG's face after his hug with Van Der Beek. Was the director just calling out emotions for him to express? 'Relieved! Confused! Horny! Confused again! Sad! Angry!' idk. Janie angst, I suppose.

HE IS ALMOST THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. He has a stunning range of facial expressions, all of which seem to mean 'I AM REALLY OKAY ABOUT THE WEIRD WAY PETER MAKES ME FEEL INSIDE'. They're just like heaven.

I think a lot of MPG's face was trying to go 'wow, hugging other men is WEIRD AND WRONG, WHERE IS JARED????' but probably it was meant to be the Janie thing, so he was getting confused and kind of flailing between het and bromance and GAY GAY LOVE.

I watched a few interviews of MPG and Breckin after seeing the first few episodes of F&B and my goodness... their banter is the most amazing thing ever. They're constantly poking fun at each other and their real life bromance makes me so happy. MPG even wore a Clueless-era t-shirt with Breckin's face on it. Plus Breckin's geeky, so that scores extra points with me. xD

Guh, it was such an adorable scene. The Nathan hug was sorta awkward and reluctant, but he just went up and did it with Jared and just how they were both all happy and smiley aftewards :D
