WHY DO THEY EVER LEAVE THE DINER? The diner is amazing. And happy. And safe. And beautiful. IT IS FULL OF GAY LOVE AND INCREDIBLE SMILES. I love that diner.

On the other hand, two episodes without Hanna? Has she been disappeared because I love her and that isn't fair.

This episode was pure gold *_* although apparently we can't have an episode without a hooker... I really liked how Peter took the high road, even though he kept making adorable googly eyes at Janie. And Pindar "somebody's jealous..." aww. Plus Jared's "what? I'm alone." made me lol. Reminds me of a similar scene in Suits. And the ending diner scene, I was like "did our smoopy fics just come to life?!" gahh so adorbs.

(I don't know anyone IRL that watches Franklin and Bash so I needed to ramble. lol.)

I totally agree. I'm another with no one to ramble to so a party post would be epic.

Also, this episode was all kinds of adorable. I especially loved jealous!Jared and caring!Peter (with Jared and Janie/Nathan; that boy just has so much love to give :p) and I totally agree that they should never leave the diner. Granted there have only been two, but I have never been in a fandom where the characters hug so much (in non-life threatening situations)

I just love this show :)

Jared being jealous of basically EVERYTHING NEAR PETER was so lovely. I love that he sort of just was casually jealous of Nathan on a low level all the way through and everyone accepted it as perfectly normal. I really like that they didn't make Nathan awful, either.

YES. They should just have like, diner-arrest. ...I'm pretty sure that's not a real thing, but I doubt real lawyers shotgun beers during court too... Heh.

Diner-arrest! ♥ THAT WOULD NOT MAKE ME SAD. It makes more sense than house arrest! The diner maybe wouldn't let them have parties, so it would be more punishing. And they would have to stay in the cold at night and would be uncomfortable and cuddle for warmth. She was a rubbish judge not to think of diner arrest.

I love the diner! I imagine one of them will propose to the other in that diner some day.

And oh, I loved Jared's little moment of regression to teen-angst, and if it was any other show I would've been shouting at the screen 'hug him, HUG HIM!' but of course I didn't need to because it was Peter and Peter knows what to do.

And the fact that Peter was all 'yeah, good for you!' about Jared having sex with teacher lady made it sound like Jared needs encouragement to connect with other people or something, like maybe he has major trust issues. And Peter's okay with encouraging him to have one night (day?) stands, because it means Jared still comes home to him. They're not exclusive, they just make sure the actual loving and snuggling part only involves each other!

I think next season we might totally get an episode where someone tries to close the diner down and they panic and flail about someone trying to take away their memories and love and fight like anything to keep it and to mend it, and stroke bits of it and talk more about ALL THEIR LOVE THEY HAVE SHARED THERE while trying not to really address their love in any meaningful way. Because this seems like an obvious plot line to me, and it will make me happy. I am kind of assuming that F&B's only wish in life is to make me happy, it's what they spend all their time doing.

I really really like it when they are happy about each other having sex so long as it doesn't MEAN ANYTHING.

I have sort of got used to their hooker obsession thing and barely notice it. It's awful how much I don't notice about FaB because I just notice Peter and Jared and their stunning love.

Rambling is absolutely fine, I basically feel the need to email everyone I know after every episode and tell them all EXACTLY HOW AMAZING IT WAS.

I loved jared being so openly jealous. And I love how he apparently had sex with the school teacher and then left her to go and have dinner with Peter. I mean it's kind of terrible but I assume she was okay with it, and I just love them.

I don't even register the hookers anymore either. I just look for any guest stars and of course Jared and Peter, and other characters now and then.

I WAS THINKING THAT TOO. He just totally left her to go have dinner with Peter which made me chuckle.

And yeah, we definitely need a post for episodes so we can all ramble and comment during it xD

I like that he'd left her to go and have dinner with Peter but Peter didn't even think that was an indication that the date had gone badly, he was aware that even if it had gone brilliantly Jared would still be there, WITH HIM, because OBVIOUSLY THAT'S NORMAL.

I think an episode watchalong thing would be very very but I'm in the UK, so I can't be there because I have to wait for downloads and it sucks and I am sad. But hopefully, because we've not had episode posts for all the rest, we can have a rewatch in a little bit, and maybe make the times workable for everyone. That would be awesome.

Ahhh I didn't even think of that! /Is stupid and insensitive of me.

But a rewatch party eventually would be even better because we can have a set time still, include everybody, and it'll tide us over for a bit while we have to wait for season 2!

It's totally not insensitive of you, there's no reason you should keep track of where everyone is. And it's a sadness we have learned to live with in our fannish lives for the most part, it is just a SHAME.

I am dreading the wait for season 2 and we haven't even finished this one yet. A rewatch will definitely help.

You know, I didn't even think of it like that (I must need my slash goggle re-tightened) but now you've said it, I can't help thinking how it reminds me of Holmes/Watson. Throughout the books/films/tv shows, Watson is constantly abandoning his wife to go gallivanting off with Holmes, most of the time not even waiting to tell her face to face, just leaving a quick note. (I imagine they go something like Off with Holmes. Don't wait up :p) And whilst the diner scene is like that in miniature form, I think it almost definitely used to happen when Peter & Janie were still together and almost certainly contributed to the break-up. Or so I like to think :)

THEY ARE. And never apologize for being OT! I am a master of OT. But I'm on The Adventure of the Copper Beeches right now! I have the Barnes and Nobles volumes, so they look crazy huge, but they're really not that bad.
