TNT renews the show for a second season!

TNT has ordered a second season of Franklin & Bash, the legal drama starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, EW has learned exclusively. Currently airing Wednesdays at 9 p.m., Franklin & Bash ranks as one of basic cable’s top new series of the summer.

“This summer, Franklin & Bash has broken out as a hugely entertaining series with great characters, sharp writing and a terrific cast,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming, for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies in a statement. “We’re thrilled that the show has drawn such a remarkably strong following and look forward to bringing it back next summer.”

God yes, I had this huge celebratory post planned and then IT WOULDN'T LOAD FOR ME! I was in serious withdrawal and it felt awful ... I called my brother, who has never heard of the show, to tell him the good news and then he had to listen to me fangirling for a good ten minutes. Bless him that he didn't hang up on me.

Oh, that is awesome that you rang your brother. I posted at dreamwidth where NOBODY CARES about Franklin and Bash and then randomly emailed all my friends going 'You know that thing that it really annoys you that I go on about ALL THE TIME NOW???? THERE IS GOING TO BE MORE, BE HAPPY FOR ME!!!!!!' Some of them were very kind and pretended to care ♥

It still makes me smile today. I have loved so many things they have just cancelled for no reason. I hope season 2 is as lovely. I hope they keep everyone and change nothing.

For an hour or so I was in serious panic lj would never ever get up for me again (and oh the horror, my whole life is on lj, I'm addicted!), and then I was like "But where do I meet these awesome people from the F&B fandom again? Will we find each other on dreamwidth? How do I even get on dreamwidth? Don't do this to me lj!"

I spread my F&B squeal on FB and skype, but it's not the same ... 'cause they don't share the feeling of utter happiness I had when I heard the news. And god yes, I know what you mean with the canceling stuff (RIP Firefly ;__;)-
