So, a few weeks ago there was THIS post from gingerpig, featuring some on-set pictures of a shirtless MPG, leading to speculation as to whether we will ever get to see a shirtless Breckin ever again... Well apparently, the fandom gods are smiling on us (it must be our turn on the rota) and today I found THIS on Buzzfeed:

This scene needs to be the whole fucking episode. If they fail to make this scene long and lingering and forever I am going to cry. WHY IS IT NOT JUNE YET?? Also MPG is really happy because he's having a baby and as much as I disagree with his constantly being married, I like that he's happy. Did you see this, which was described as 'play wrestling'?

Also Peter isn't wearing a bracelet but Jared is, and I am choosing to believe Jared's wearing Peter's bracelet and this is making me happy so I'm going to carry on believing it PROBABLY FOREVER regardless of any evidence to the contrary.

Dude! OMG, that second picture is EPIC! I have basically been mining the interwebs for the past hour to try and find every single photo that was taken on that beach. I am slightly upset by the number of cropped versions I've found just of MPG. Why would you crop out a semi-nekkid Breckin? Why? WHY?? But I did find this one, which goes some way to making things all better again...

It shouldn't be so overwhelming that Jared/Breckin tastes like bubblegum, but every time I remember it's like I die all over again.

And that's one of the best shots we've ever got of his tattoos and I still don't understand them.

And yes, the cropping Breckin out of things is madness. The daily mail even said that next to mpg Breckin looked like he needed to work out a bit more, where that is CLEARLY NOT TRUE, he looks amazing and perfect and touchable and he has bare feet and SKLDJF.

The Daily Mail once said that because my husband goes out to work and I don't that I should get up in the morning and cook him breakfast and warm his shower for him. The Daily Mail is clearly full of shit, Breckin is very much perfect, with his bare feet and nail varnish fjhcjhgfjhgfgjk.

And thank you for reminding me that JAred/Breckin tastes of bubblegum. I don't know why I'd forget that.

Yes, I'm loving the tattoo-y goodness in all of these pictures. I don't think we're meant to understand them. Or Breckin. It's all too beautiful to comprehend!

A whole beach episode. Where they apply sun tan lotion to each other. But also maybe get burnt and have to aloe. Erm. Yeah.

And maybe they share an ice cream, cause that's a beach thing, right? And it's... drippy. I don't know.

Do we think that the case is about a shark attack or something? A Jaws homage perhaps? (am I trying to find the angst here?)

There could be so much sunburn and gentle beautiful aloe applying. Somewhere we could see it, it would have to be sunburn tending that was integral to the plot and therefore ONSCREEN.

A shark attack would be GREAT. I already said to Vic that hopefully Jared would get swallowed by a wave, hit in the head by his board and Peter would watch anxiously for him to surface but he wouldn't and Peter would have to go and find him and save him and worry over him. Obviously F&B won't bother to give us that, they're DREADFUL at injuring/hurting Jared. Although maybe with this new toplessness they'll get on board with the h/c as well. I would probably DIE if they gave us a proper h/c episode but I would die SO VERY COMPLETELY HAPPY.

Sunburn tending should always be integral to the plot. Why that isn't on every show I don't know.

Ugh, yes... and maybe there's some not entirely necessary but we probably should anyway just to be safe mouth to mouth... and maybe Jared could have inhaled some seawater so Peter would have to worry about Jared having pneumonia. That all seems like a perfectly reasonable plot for a not serious lawyer show.

They're so close to fulfilling all of our hopes and dreams... toplessness is only the first step. *nods hopefully* Maybe F&B could be the first show in a while to get h/c right.

(I've been so let down lately by quite a few possible h/c episodes of various shows... they set everything up so well... and then just let it fade away. *sigh*)

I am really sorry about shows that fail at h/c, it's the cruellest thing. People shouldn't be allowed to make television unless they've seen Starsky and Hutch and are prepared to at least try to live up to it. Are they any of the ones I'm watching?

I have had the stretching picture in a tab ever since it appeared and I am not getting much done except staring. I'm getting a lot of staring done.

I think maybe where you think about covering him in flour and baking him in a pie, I read that and immediately went ah yes he'd look so pretty covered in flour and you could sort of stroke it into him . . . and then there could be butter and jam and other sticky things I could lick off him too.

Breathing difficulties are to be expected when faced with this kind of sensory overload - just take one picture at a time and switch to some soothing images of kittens if it gets too much... ;o)
