Wagon Wheel Wednesday
Ingredients:
~ 30ml Disaronno Amaretto
~ 15ml Chambord
~ 15ml Mozart Gold Chocolate
~ 60ml cream
~ chocolate syrup
Instructions:
Shake all of the ingredients together, then strain into a brandy balloon topped off with garnishes of chocolate wafer and flake shavings.
I don't know if you can get Wagon Wheels in the US, but here in the UK, they're a round biscuit topped with marshmallow and covered with chocolate. I'm not keen on them myself as I don't like marshmallow, but apparently people complain a lot that the biscuits have got smaller over the years. But that's the British for you, we could complain about anything, even biscuits!
Anyway, on to less biscuity things... Well, apparently Mark-Paul is as keen to see a naked Breckin as the rest of us. Make of that what you will:
Mark-Paul was also nice enough to retweet some promo pics and spoilery stuff on upcoming plots and guest stars, bits of which I have put under the cut for those people who are avoiding that sort of thing.

Why do Jared's shirt, vest and tie not appear to match? Did he get dressed in the dark? Did Bear dress him? Is Bear actually colour blind?! Answers on a postcard...

Finally, in an attempt to kick-start those creative juices, I had a fun meme come up on my flist the other day, involving loads of questions about 'firsts', and it got me thinking - If the Infeld & Daniels team had a go at answering these questions, what would they say? So I've adapted some of the questions, and if you have any thoughts on what Damien's first concert was, or who was the first person to text Carmen this morning, let us know in the comments. They don't have to be long thoughts, but who knows - it might just spark an idea for someone...

As the second season of Franklin & Bash opens, Peter and Jared are forced to tackle a little more responsibility. After being accused of misconduct, they begin to question the loyalty of colleagues, as well as question if they are staying true to who they really are. They now face a number of truly daunting tasks to ensure partner status at Infeld-Daniels and we find out the real reason Infeld hired them.
As Franklin & Bash delves more deeply into the characters personal lives this season, viewers will be introduced to ex-wives, parents and new love interests played by an impressive list of award winning guest stars. Among them, Kevin Nealon (Weeds) plays an offbeat executive the boys need to sign in order to move upward in the firm. And, Martin Mull (Two and a Half Men) plays a judge subjected to their most recent, outlandish court escapade: a death-defying water tank stunt.
Also appearing this season, Peter’s freewheeling, indecisive, "Earth Mom" Colleen Bash, played by Jane Seymour (Wedding Crashers), meddles in her son’s current love affair with a cop, played by Kat Foster ('Til Death). Jared also gets a taste of family and love when he winds up in court up against estranged father Leonard Franklin, played by Beau Bridges (The Second Civil War). Jared also meets a love interest played by Shiri Appleby (Roswell, Life Unexpected) as a smart, sweet and sassy associate of a senior partner at Infeld-Daniels charged with investigating our heroes.
Nothing can prepare Peter and Jared, however, for the most unusual challenge of their career: defending one of Infeld’s many ex-wives, played by Cybill Shepherd (Cybill). To make matters even more complicated, they will have do so by facing off against Jango & Rossi, the B-list version of themselves: Eric Jango, played by Seth Green and Ed Rossi played by Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty).
Chris Klein (American Pie) will guest-star as a charismatic politician and old high school buddy of Peter’s, and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie) will play Klein’s campaign manager. Rick Fox (He Got Game), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), Peter Weller (Robocop), Boris Kodjoe (Resident Evil: Retribution) and Kimberly Caldwell (American Idol) will also join the cast of guest stars.

One of my friends randomly emailed me today to say that she'd really like to see Breckin dressed as a bee. I WOULD NOW REALLY LIKE TO SEE HIM DRESSED AS A BEE.
Did you see the beautiful clip of Garcelle Beauvais being BEAUTIFUL and talking about Hanna in a low beautiful voice? I LOVE HER A LOT.
I am rubbish at your meme on account of all my answers being: PETER AND JARED ARE GAY AND IN LOVE. But I will try to have more thoughts than that:
Jared's prom date was Annie Banford, but after about an hour he found her making out with the quarterback. So he left, took the limo his dad had paid for, picked up Peter - pretended he was asking him out, gave him a rose, everything, and Peter played along - and they drove all over town all night, playing loud music and getting thoroughly drunk, Jared in his tux and Peter in his scruffy jeans. Eventually woke up in a field at about seven the next morning, curled together using Peter's coat as a blanket.
First thing they do when they get home: Champagne and party blast if they won; locked doors and bourbon if they didn't.
Jared's first real tattoo was boring, some chinese symbol that looked really cool in the book when he was seventeen and looks ridiculous on his shoulder now he's 33. But the one he thinks of as first isn't even there. When Peter was fourteen he'd got an ink stamp for his birthday, for his books, 'property of Peter Bash'. Jared had been messing with it and stamped the back of his arm, just to see if it worked. He'd done it without thinking, but then he looked at it and felt weird. Really weird. He'd rolled his sleeve down, and ignored it. But left it there for the next three days. In one way it washed off, but in another way it never really did.
Peter's first detention was for fighting and his mom was furious and his coach was mad because he had to miss a game. But the graffiti he'd found on the locker room wall - and quickly washed away - was disgusting and he knew who'd done it, and they'd deserved the few punches he'd landed. He was tired of putting up with them all talking as if they knew anything. It wasn't like that with him and Jared.

I love, love, love all your meme thoughts, especially the prom one. Can I second the request for flashback prom fic?! And the 'coming home' thing? As much as I want them to win and be happy, is it wrong that I so want to read about the bourbon and locked doors...?
