Maybe everyone in the show hates the kid as much as Vic does, and have basically gone to court hoping to send him to his death.
*raises hand* I too thought he was super creepy. I am okay with him dying in the Amazon. I feel like if he were older, like even 15-16, that would be marginally less creepy for him to be all hitting on Hanna and stuff. But 12? I feel like the writers were trying to balance between cute and cool and it just came out creepy. All I could think the entire time was, "She's old enough to be your mom, she's old enough to be your mom, she's old enough to be MY mom....*shudders*"
