If I'm honest, my episode ended here. My epic bromance shows don't go around making their final scene be Jared dancing with a girl.

(Possibly my highlight of the whole episode was when Jared had a scene that was disappointingly heterosexual, but he wore a waistcoat without a jacket but BUTTONED UP. I kind of flailed pathetically. SO GOOD.)

Oh! I loved his whole over reactioning to the corpse, it was IDEAL, I love him. I love how Jared knew how to calm him, like maybe there are loads of things he overly panics near. Like frogs. I bet he hates frogs.

Hanna thinking about leaving made me SO SAD. SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. THEY ARE ALL SO MUCH LOVE.

Ahahahahahhaha! I could TOTALLY see that! Like, "Oh god! Jared! They're on me and touching me and askdjkkjj!!!!" And Jared being all, "Chill, bro. It's a frog. They eat bugs! They're our friends." Also, I bet Peter is scared of cockroaches...and hates mushrooms. Because mushrooms are gross....actually, they're not and they're super, super tasty, but I can see Peter hating them because they're slimy.

Awwwwwwww. I can't ever really bring myself to hope for canon for my pairings, even when it's het I think they tend to ruin het couples when they get them together together. I like Hanna and Damien just having ~moments~ in canon.

My favourite part was Peter's cockblock after so graciously telling Jared to go and comfort the girl. I was gleeful at Jared not getting any. Sorry, Jared! Peter, my dear, you are an excellent boyfriend.

Oh, and I noticed the buttoned up waistcoat too...he looks so DAPPER. And so good when pressed up against a wall, and oh, he pressed Peter up against the morgue wall too, didn't he? Wonderful!

Because he is AMAZING! They are entirely equal in my mind now, which is a lovely equilibrium to be at at the end. Jared took the lead for a while there, but now they're both just 100% perfect.

I loved them looking so serious in prison with Infeld. Those troubled expressions are just remarkably sexy.

Also, I'd like to apologise for my false advertising that Jared would be shirtless on this episode! I think they cut if from the episode with Van Der Beek.

This interview has tell of it. And is incredibly lovely and adorable, so watch it anyway. The way MPG looks down at Breckin is like...love shining out of the eyes. And then when Van Der Beek shows up at the end, they have a little huddle, and MPG's still looking down at Breckin. It's amazing.

OH GOD, I had forgotten about your false advertising but now I'm so sad. WHY ON EARTH do people keep cutting Breckin Meyer's nude scenes??? WHY? ?????? Do you think when they film with him shirtless they just end up with take after take where they realise poeple are STROKING HIM INAPPROPRIATELY and they have to cut them all out and eventually they're just like 'right, put your shirt back on, we have to get some work done now'? That is the only explanation I can think of.

I think you have hit the nail on the head, my friend! He's simply too distracting to unleash. Considering he's pretty damn distracting when fully clothed, this is entirely possible.

Or maybe there's some horrible director who thinks he's not got the perfect six-pack Hollywood body and therefore shouldn't be seen. And they cut the scenes without saying anything, and then Breckin just gets all paranoid and he doesn't say anything, but MP notices. Of course. And then proceeds to show him how much of a dick he thinks that director is by carrying out some body-worship.

Okay. If eventually rps happens, MPG having to reassure Breckin that people are FOOLS not to cast him naked in everything, is going to be top of my wishlist. JSDFlsd. Yes.

Except what you've just said down there in that other comment *points downwards*, THAT TOO! Breckin being cast among giants. That's so true.

Even in that interview there, when James shows up suddenly, I felt like Breckin was suddenly slightly lost amongst the tall people. He said something that got talked over completely and he spends a lot of time looking at the floor, or off in the distance, and oh, such potential for insecurity angst. Maybe that's why MP gazes at him so much, just to keep that connection between them, make sure Breckin feels part of things.

Oh, he didn't even think about it, and I really liked Peter sending him off to a girl and then looking slightly sad. Well on one level I did, on another level I worry a little tiny bit that he thinks Jared is too caught up on him, and sort of encourages him in heterosexuality and that it is kind of a thing between them, and I don't really think it, I just don't want any more canon that slightly supports it because it's so sad if Peter isn't okay with their love and Jared is, and it's a sort of issue. I don't know.

No, no I totally feel you. I always get this niggling feeling that jared is way more ...classical in love? with Peter than Peter is with him, because Peter is still harboring under this 'I'm straight. Hetero-romantic and heterosexual.' deal, while Jared just accepts that they're total life mates. Jared even looked a bit put out that maybe the girl was too into him.

OH, PETER. He will have to get over that because Jared has already had to suffer through the whole Janie thing, if Peter tries to be seriously heterosexual about anyone else his heart will just crumble and it isn't fair.

I wonder if next season we'll get to see how badly the whole Janie thing effected Jared, because he's really pissy about it.

Was Peter, like, a communications major in college because he couldn't decide what to do and he totally would have done pre med but he couldn't even dissect a frog in highschool? Or did Peter always want to be a lawyer after seeing how successful Jared's dad was?

Dang! My thoughts; let me show you them.

And the wall! When Jared was all flustered about him and the girl being "together" cause the most he was thinking was sex and you know he was trying to say that he's basically married to Peter. I 'aww'd'.

IT WAS INCREDIBLY SWEET. Like incredibly sweet. Like I had to watch Peter freak out and Jared EXCUSE HIMSELF to go and deal with his boyfriend, about twenty times before I could carry on with the rest of the episode.

I love the pre med thing. I love how they just decide on random backstory anything they like bits. I hope Peter once tried out for nasa. That is my personal fanon, and then Jared looked at him and was like 'IF YOU GO INTO SPACE AND ARE THAT FAR AWAY FROM ME I WILL DIE PETER' and Peter immediately went 'I am not going to do that I am going to be a lawyer like you and live with you and look after you always for you are tiny and perfect and BETTER THAN THE MOON'.

I love that they cast thingy from BSG and they already have Hanna, Damien and Peter all TOWERING over Breckin. It's like Infeld has a whole 6' policy and then have just let Jared in by mistake because he's too pretty. He must look at the guest stars and be like 'RIGHT FINE, I'M FINE DOWN HERE ALL ON MY OWN'.

Sorry, my height kink is newish, but I am loving it a lot.

My fanon is that Peter got a scholarship for playing football and maybe he did that for a few years, but then got injured and had to think about an actual career.

LOL. Poor Breckin. I'm 5' flat and it sucks to constantly have to look up people's noses. Any on screen acting class I've ever taken forced me to stand on a box so that I could be in frame with my scene partners. I'm just glad they let Breckin stay tiny. And that they keep finding girls for him to make out with that are his size.

I kind of liked Trisha Helfer (thingy from BSG) in this--conniving scum that she was.

The height thing is funny b/c it's not that Reed Diamond or MPG are really tall or anything (one's 6'1" the other is 6'0"). It's just that Brekin is a smurf.

I kind of detested everything about bsg, but I do always like Trisha Helfer when I see her in other things. And she seems really cool as a real person as well.

I know! I keep being a bit 'oh, look at Peter being shorter than Damien' that must be weird for him, and then remembering that actually he's not that tall, it happens to him all the time, Jared's just thrown my scale off.

pffff I still need to finish the episode, my friend came to pick me up before it was over. I kind of don't want to watch the rest, because then it will be officially over until next year.

All I know is, my non-slashy, normal person mind was happy Jared finally got some female attention, and how he ran back for the second kiss was RIDICULOUSLY cute. Aww, my bb. Also spawned fic ideas about Peter giving Jared firsthand tips with the ladies because he clearly is really awkward.

Of course, that was after my slashy brain short circuited from Peter being scared of the (weirdly fake looking) corpse and Jared comforting him via hands on the chest. UMMM so cute.

Oh, he kissed her REALLY nicely, yes. I did like that. I'm generally very much in favour of them having women, but I was a bit thrown by the two weeks in a row thing. I really enjoy 'girlfriend of the week' television, it means the regular female cast aren't tied up/demoted to being romantic interests, and it's generally more fun.

OH MY GOD THE COMFORTING.

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Peter's panic is my favourite thing possibly THIS YEAR.
