I think you have hit the nail on the head, my friend! He's simply too distracting to unleash. Considering he's pretty damn distracting when fully clothed, this is entirely possible.
Or maybe there's some horrible director who thinks he's not got the perfect six-pack Hollywood body and therefore shouldn't be seen. And they cut the scenes without saying anything, and then Breckin just gets all paranoid and he doesn't say anything, but MP notices. Of course. And then proceeds to show him how much of a dick he thinks that director is by carrying out some body-worship.
