Oh god, yes, ALL of those ideas! Even if they refuse to do that, they should be forced to at least cram it all into one episode and make one uber-angst-fest.

If we can have thirty episodes, then can we also have one where one of them disappears because someone runs him off the road, into some ravine, and the other races to find him, and when he finds him, he (ignoring possible spinal injuries) grabs him in the longest hug in tv history and says 'oh god, I thought you were dead...'?
And one where one that's just Starsky & Hutch's 'The Fix' but with Jared and Peter.
And one where a client goes nuts and holds them hostage in the board room and threatens them with a gun/knife.
