season 2 ep 10 650 to SLC discussion

Well guys,

This is it. The final episode of the season and its a doozy.

Jared's Father attempts to buy the firm. So what will our boys and the rest of Infeld Daniels do?

This went far too fast! Here's to hoping we get a season 3!!!

Fangirling and squeeing and all teh usual discussions below.

I'm late tonight, but i won't be around to squee until after i get my greedy little paws on the download!

Have fun ladies and gents! (mods we need an actual episode tag for this one later, okay? )

It is Emily. And I don't understand her. (nothing against Shiri Appleby, who's perfectly fine) I mean... how did they decide to make a girlfriend out of the boringist person ever. She almost got interesting when Jared asked her to tell them about things and maybe during that conference call... but it didn't really stick. I totally like how not cool everyone is with her, but I'd also like to be assured that she wasn't going to be a permanent thing because there's literally no reason to have a long lasting girlfriend thing in this show. (ugh. feels about this. I have them.)

I didn't even think about Jared cross examining Peter, but omg how did they not? I'm so sad. It would have been rollicking fun! (the whole thing of Peter not being allowed to practice law because of paperwork or whatever was just random and weird)

It was also weird (maybe?) about how suddenly it was Hanna throwing out her report that triggered the review instead of the former client causing problems. Like the writers just remembered that the whole thing should have been tied together even though they didn't bother with it during the whole season. Like, there was such possibilities with that and they didn't really bother.

Also they didn't really bother with the Infeld/Franklin stuff. There should have been something else... clearly last year Stanton loved Peter and Jared and not just as poison pills. (though him saying that did make Jared have some lovely faces)

And I'm also kinda disappointed that they didn't follow through with becoming badass lawyers. Jared becoming what he didn't want to be. Loosing their roots. I kinda wanted evil ness (even just a bit) by the end of the season.

Jared having a girlfriend is the wrong kind of cliffhanger. It's like not even one. Blergh at MPG for saying things.

I liked to ep too... even though all I do is complain.

The plane ride was wonderful. It was like seeing into a Franklin family car trip with Leonard yelling at Jared for doing basically everything.

Jared impersonating his father was also wonderful. (even though it made me a little sad because every bad thing was probably things he's heard his father say)

And I'm angry that they're not pandering to me MORE. And I feel a lot like in the first season Peter and Jared were so delighted by each other, because I think MPG and BM were a bit each others new favourite thing. And now they know each other too well and I know they're still beautiful together, but there's been no hugging, and less making each other laugh despite themselves, and something.

Yes. It's almost like something's lacking. And I always kind of feel like during the first season of a show everyone is in this bubble of no watcher reactions, but then they do get watcher reactions and then they get gun shy about doing things because they're worried about what people will like. Or something. *shrug*

And I hate Jared's new wardrobe, although some of his new wardrobe is really nice, but he used to wear turtles and he had that lovely elephant t-shirt and now he's all wrong, and he wasn't naked, not even for a little while.

Yes. He was a bit better at being casual last season.

I love that Jared claimed Peter as an intern, happy happy happy happy. So much sexual harrassment for him <33333333

You know they role played the hell out of that.
