Damien, why are you so skittish?

I have massive feelings about Damien and body issues and general dorkiness. I don't even know what to do with Damien any more.

Does anyone else feel like this episode should have been closer to the beginning of the season? (and maybe last weeks should have been earlier too?)

The Pindar plot was a little off... but I like him and Infeld together and the 'unique presentation' bit was worth it. Too adorbs.

Needed more Carmen.

Neither Jared nor Peter bothered to wear even a navel hat, let alone a whole uniform. Massive disappointment.

The shooting range was awesome. And now we know that Jared would welcome a zombie apocalypse.

I really liked the kick ass navy girls.

Huge Damien feels. His body image issues, his weirdness over being at strip clubs, his questionable dillying with summer associates... the way he just looks confused all the time, this season is full of Damien feels for me.

Bonus points for inviting Hanna to the Diner at the end. They think she's one of them. Aww. Boys.

Peter and Jared being the ones who got the former stripper into the summer associate program. <3 (extra <3 for that weirding out Damien.)

I'm sure there was more. ( I was distracted by White Collar, which promised hurt/comfort but refused to deliver in any acceptable way. ergh.)

Yes! I think ordinarily the season would have been rearranged a bit maybe, but because they were putting it on after R&I to try to get it viewers I think they wanted to put like a REALLY hard amount of STRONG episodes at the beginning, and then obviously they have to build up to the ending couple of episodes, so these ones maybe just got stuck in the middle slightly?

I really want Franklin & Bash to segue randomly into zombie apocalypse now. NOW. They said things would happen at the end of the season that might make the third season (if they get one) go in a different direction, and ZOMBIES WOULD DO THAT.

I think they wanted to put like a REALLY hard amount of STRONG episodes at the beginning, and then obviously they have to build up to the ending couple of episodes, so these ones maybe just got stuck in the middle slightly?

Maybe the surprise will be a segue way into a zombie apocalypse. And the gun shooting thing was hints being dropped. Zombies would be a wonderful direction for the show to go in. Yes. If they won't give us a mentally falling apart Jared who thinks a giant stuffed bear is real as a new direction then it should totally be zombies.

That was a weird kind of blank episode for me in some ways, but it's almost a relief, they had to start having a couple of not TOTALLY KILLING ME WITH EMOTION episodes eventually, and next week looks amazing because oh god Peter, OH GOD. Peter and Dead Bodies makes me extraordinarily happy. Also is next week roller derby too? I feel like they're running out of time for roller derbying.

I like that they shot guns. I noticed that Jared didn't get shot AGAIN. And I noticed that at NO POINT did Peter put even a hat on. I know it would have been difficult to find an excuse for Peter to dress up as a . . . it wouldn't have been THAT HARD to find Peter an excuse to dress up as a fucking sailor. FOR FUCK'S SAKE. Why are the people in charge of Mark-Paul Gosselaar so BAD at being in charge of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, I know they're not entirely bad, OH GOD putting him near Jared is enough for me on a lot of levels, I like episodes when they don't have separate cases, we've had a lot of them making each other happy in court this year. But Peter totally admitted to beautiful officer and a gentleman feels and then at no point dressed up as an officer and gave Jared his hat. LKSDHFOWJEKFM WHY?

I love Damien, I love that he stopped his friends from being handsy, and I love that he was weird about his abs again, and although seeing him all half naked and confused in a car was amazing, really it just made me want to see him eating cheese again. It's terrible having a bit of a damien/cheese kink because every think you say about it sounds like a TERRIBLE euphemism.

Hanna trying to get Peter and Jared fired still doesn't make a lot of sense to me. THEY INVITED HER TO THE DINER. I LOVE THEM SO.

I like how much they're going for Pindar/Infeld. I am not really, I just totally believe that Infeld is sleeping with Peter in an inappropriate way that makes Peter uncomfortable even though I don't think I have ANY evidence at all. And Pindar only loves Karp. But I like that canon likes Pindar/Infeld.

There should have been dressing up! I mean we've had gladiators and judges and skirts and eyeliner, so what's a little naval uniform cos-play???

I don't like that we only have three episodes left.

And I worked out what's different about this season's Peter and last, you know with the 'oh HELLO"

His eyebrows. Yes I have spent a long time on Tumblr today looking at F&B pics...

He was JUST as amazing last year, you were just BLIND. But I will pay attention to his eyebrows. Tumblr is beautiful, but not nearly enough of it is devoted to Franklin and Bash.

We can't only have three episodes left. It's not FAIR, we waited ALL THAT TIME.

This. We had so many beautiful moments in this episode with Peter & Jared being all adorable and smiley and Peter & Jared, in court and out. Also, for some reason I really loved the way they kept introducing each other in this ep. They're so married.

Oh my God, I didn't even realise how much I wanted this until I just read it. I don't know whether to damn you or thank you.

I also don't really get the Hanna thing. Last season it was like she was aware of how... alternative their methods are but she accepted it because they got results and they're generally awesome but so far this season it feels like I've missed something with Hanna to explain her attitude towards the boys.

So excited for next week! I just have one wish and that is more of Jared's methods for calming Peter down. That sounded a little dirtier than I intended :P

They (the writers, directors and Reed Diamond) have done some really interesting things with Damien. Too bad they also don't care for continuity, because it would be interesting to pursue this.

Someone who wants to be elected judge with a former stripper? Someone would try to make that an issue. I can see Damien's family disapproving. Even Stanton--in the sense of, she'd be fine for a dalliance but Damien tends to cling. And Peter and Jared could actually be supportive. That'd be fun. Sigh.

Heard a rumor that season 3 may be a go. Thought it might when TNT loved Colleen Bash and said they wanted more. No confirmation yet, though.

Pindar/Infeld does less than zero for me, I'm afraid. He and Damien make a nice odd couple.

Oh man. Damien throwing it all away for a former stripper and joining up with Jared and Peter and learning to be cool again (because the former stripper (who totally had a name that I forgot) said that he used to be much cooler) and turning all cowboy-y... Where are my Damien feels coming from all of a sudden?

I like and fully support this idea! It's so nice not to be alone or in very small company re Damien feels!

Damien being shirtless, confused, eating cheese, and complaining about his lack of abs would be just about perfect. I think that could totally work. All they had to do was add eating cheese to the car scene. Like, instead of a cigarette he carries around some cheese, just in case he gets lucky and needs his cheese fix afterwards. They can't just introduce Damien eating and enjoying cheese and never give that to us again. Those monsters.

Like how Peter doesn't want to listen to Infeld's weird stories? It's probably totally because he hears them while bent over Infeld's desk. "You know, Peter, this reminds me of the time..."

This is funny because Reed Diamond LOVES cheese apparently, but apparently had to eat way too much cheese to make that scene happen. So there's hope for some type of reprise.

Or Stanton says "You know, Peter, this reminds me of the time ..." and Peter has to stuff some cheese (or something) in Stanton's mouth to spare Jared the lurid details of said inappropriate sleeping together.

My thoughts on this episode are many and I'm not exactly sure where to begin. As to the timing of it, I guess they had to allow Hanna time to accumulate 52 pages of "evidence" against Peter and Jared only to delete it when she realized she was exactly like that female navy captain--she set them up to fail. But, unfortunately, that begs the question of why make them equity partners in the first place.

Also, where did this idea come from that it's morally wrong to sleep with someone from work. I get if you say "sleep with me and I'll give you a good performance review" or some such, but two consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever. As long as there's no coercion or abuse of power, it should be ok. Having said that, I didn't sleep with my husband until I'd left the firm we'd both worked at but I might has well have because everyone thought we were going at it.

I guess I'm liking that Hanna is doing stuff with Peter and Jared because it gives her something to do. She was in jeopardy of becoming a plot device like Carmen is.

Damien was interesting. I mean, seriously, think about it. You've seen this hot young woman a couple of times at a strip club and she shows up at work!!! OMG, what is happening!!! is exactly the right reaction. I like that they have Damien be shy around people who openly profess to desire him (Lance and Alyssa). It makes for an interesting change to the face he generally presents to the world (or tries to).

I liked that Damien was a bit hurt when Alyssa said she wanted to explore family law at Infeld Daniels. Like, did I just gamble and lose big time? I just hope they don't warp the whole thing so this one indiscretion comes back to bite Damien in the ass. He's made a mistake and clearly knows it, because he and Alyssa are planning to hook up once she moves on. Let's let the morality clause story line die here please. Pretty please.

Pindar and Stanton are yawn worthy, sadly. Other than that story line, decent show.

I think it's a fairly standard thing? Because, even if there wasn't, like, obvious favoring or disfavoring or coercion or anything like that there's still a chance that someone outside of the relationship could see it that way or someone in the relationship could use it as leverage against the other person by claiming that the coercion or whatever actually was the way it did happen.Maybe?

I desperately need Hanna to be more amazing in her own right with her own story lines. Possibly with Carmen if Carmen isn't going to get her own story lines. I mean... if Pindar can get story lines... *sigh*
