I DO NOT HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THAT. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH OH MY GOD I NEARLY DIED. How does Jared even not kiss him for two seconds at a time, how does ANYONE?

totally realizing that, yes, they actually are life partners

My happiness. All of it. It's like he probably spent years telling people they were partners, but not life partners, and then slowly it's just sort of coming with more and more 'well sort of' added onto the end, and eventually one day he's just going to say that they're partners and cut himself off from disclaiming anything because there's nothing left to disclaim.

I know what you mean about the daddy!issues, but I liked the 'here are some of Jared's daddy issues, look at his face'. And I quite like how they keep his daddy issues sort of at a level where they're still quite simmering almost. Like in season 1 was the first time he told his dad he knew about him having affairs, so it's not like that had ever come out, or been a thing they fought openly about. And now they hardly talk so they still won't have done, and I quite like that whole adult level of 'I can't actually just scream at you like I'm fifteen because I'm thirty five' (or whatever age Jared is this week) 'so we will just continue to have this very distant unhelpful relationship where everything you say kills me and we have to pretend it's okay'. Or something like that but I can't put it into words. But at the same time it was a bit friendly at the end, yes.

Leonard's coming back at the end of the season I think when we find out why Infeld hired them, so maybe they wanted things to be kind of friendly so that it would be MORE HURT when they go bad again?

Yes Hanna's clothes. Yes Jared's FACE. Yes.

There really should be more kissing on this show. It can be platonic best friend kissing even... that's a thing that happens. Also platonic best friend cuddles, and platonic best friend sex... platonic best friend commitment ceremonies. All of that should totally happen.

I do like that Jared's daddy!issues did such lovely things to his face. It's almost like... like Jared's making too much out of his father's neglect, even though we know he's not, but Leonard kind of had that feeling likehe's making too much out of everything, esp with the 'look, I'm wearing the tie you bought me... happy now?' thing at the end. I don't know... there's a a possibility that I'm in a mood that isn't allowing me to deal with that. I feel like I might be projecting. lol.

I like the idea that it's all going to go to pot perhaps at the end of the season.

I love that Jared loves that Peter loves rock and roll, and how even if Jared doesn't get it, he gets that Peter loves it and that's enough. Because he loves Peter. His face was so full of love. So fantastic.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, SERIOUSLY YES. Jared offers to have platonic sex with Carmen. There's just NO EXCUSE for not having it with Peter too.

I feel like I'm projecting too, in the ways I liked it, I can see how it would have been much nicer, and to me just as reasonable, to have out and out OH MY GOD BROKEN SADNESS.

(My favourite bit was when Peter went 'didn't you have dinner last month' when what he clearly should have said was 'you had dinner last month, I remember because I spent the ENTIRE WEEK PUTTING YOU BACK TOGETHER AGAIN OH GOD JARED WE SHOULD JUST MOVE FURTHER AWAY FROM HIM, maybe somewhere really cold for snuggling and clothing options, also I am distracted by rock and roll receipts right now but in a minute I will fuck you against a wall if you like'.)
