So I have a confession...Peter/Jared is not my Franklin and Bash OTP. haha. No, I love their dynamic and I do ship them, but I actually prefer Damien/Jared. (What's really weird is the fic I have the most written for is Peter/Jared. Go figure.)

Does anyone else want Infeld to be Jared's dad like Peter suggested in episode 4? Because that really intrigues me. I want to know how he and Jared's dad know each other.

I love that there are Damien shippers:):):) I don't mean that to sound patronising, I know it's really tough in such a small fandom not to be shipping the main pairing, but I love Damien so it's nice to see him getting some of the love.

I don't know if this is weird coming from me (because I am very much whole heartedly and pretty entirely a Peter/Jared shipper) but if I was going to ship Damien with either of them it would be Peter and I don't really get him with Jared as much. I know they had a bit of a pout at each other early on, and Jared is Jared, and therefore a welcome addition to any pairing, but I like Damien a whole lot with Peter. I like that he touches him sometimes when he doesn't really need to, and I like the way Peter is jealous and turned on by his ability to play guitar, and . . actually that might be it, but ships have floated on less.

(Really I ship Damien with Pindar, and I know it seems a lot like pairing the spares, but they do have a really sweet relationship going on the few times they meet in canon, and I love them together.)

(And really really I just love Damien with Hanna, because they make me feel all fuzzy inside in ways that canonical het never does. So it turns out that Damien is somehow my little black dress of F&B, I will buy him with anyone going. I think I don't ship him with Jared because I can't imagine Jared away from Peter more than I can't imagine Peter away from Jared. So you can completely ignore me, sorry.)

(As for Infeld being Jared's dad, I am way too attached to Jared's daddy issues to stir them up too much and make him have sort of awful redundant daddy issues instead.

I'm sort of assuming that when in the pilot Infeld says that he used to have a partner and they were like Franklin and Bash, that was him and Leonard. And then Leonard BETRAYED him by becoming evil and grown up, in a way that Peter must never betray Jared because it hurts me. I really like that Infeld maybe reacted to his boyfriend leaving him by trying to match him, and becoming a serious lawyer in a serious firm, and only seeing Jared has made him remember how good things were back then and how much he misses the Leonard he used to know, and OH it's just entirely a future fic I kind of want for Peter/Jared, where they go their own ways and forget about not working Mondays and Fridays and become corporate and sad and soulless and then SEE EACH OTHER AND DIE INSIDE AND CLING.)

And I will stop rambling at you, sorry. For what it's worth I think it is perfectly polite to ignore the really long comments.

Oh it didn't sound patronizing at all don't worry! I think Damien is one of the best characters ever and I love him so much so I'd definitely be pleased to see more people shipping him with anybody as well.

I definitely can see Damien with pretty much everyone as well...hmm. This is weird for me because I used to be such a one ship person and then Suits and F&B came on and apparently I ship everything in these shows...totally not a bad thing.

And omg I love your theory about Infeld and Leonard. It hurts on the inside for sure though. Especially if Franklin and Bash ever went that route...which they won't. Because they're too co-dependent.

Oh dear god, yes! As much as I adore Jared's 'Daddy Issues' I think that having Infeld as his Father (and therefore being related to Damien) could bring a whole new set of issues, which could be awesome!

I agree! Plus it's not like his issues with Leonard Franklin would just go away because the man did raise him after all. And the current issues could totally stem from Franklin raising another man's son. There are just so many possibilities. And it would be hilarious to see how Damien would react to being related to Jared. He'd probably freak out, but then accept it because he's big into family which is one of the things I adore about him.

Question: would you still be a Damien/Jared shipper if it turns out Jared really is Stanton's biological son? Since they'd then be first cousins. I'm just asking out of curiosity, not being for or against it. Incest doesn't faze me since I was a Supernatural fan, haha.

And hullo, fellow Damien shipper! I'm actually a Damien/Pindar shipper, because of the few times they go off to have their own little side adventure. And Pindar canonically couldn't stop thinking about Damien's "surprisingly large" penis. That too. XD

Honestly I don't know. Because I have no problem with Wincest or anything, I've read some, haven't in awhile, but if it's a fic that's highly recommended I'll read it.

It really depends on the dynamics and if they shift a lot if they ever were to find out they were related. I mean, I'm writing a Jared is Infeld's son fic, but it's Peter/Jared and there's Damien/Jared bonding, so idk.

And I totally think Pindar has a canon crush on Damien. I do love it when they work together. Of course I think the show needs more Damien and more Pindar so when I get both of them together it's like a major bonus haha.

I think Damien would have really quite beautiful issues if he found out he was Jared's cousin. Especially if he found out after they'd slept together, and Jared would be all 'So? We didn't know! And we're not that related' and Damien would be more 'lskdhflwe, we can never look at each other again'. ♥

I love that there's actually quite a lot of canon for them, out of so few episodes. I think they did really well in fleshing out the secondary characters. I love when Damien is all gutted at having to take their prospective client to the cave, and then totally impressed by how Pindar (and Carmen) have cleaned up and made it perfect, and how good Pindar is with her. And I love Pindar quietly being the best lawyer in the room in that ep as well.

True. I love seeing all my favorites being issuey, so that would be something I'd love to read. Jared would totally be like "whatever" and Peter would just find the whole thing hilarious and Infeld would probably be amused as well. I can't see anything phasing that guy.

I adore the secondary characters in this show so much. The writers have definitely done a good job with them. And Pindar is totally a bamf, you just have to search for it behind the phobias. And I think the others definitely saw that in that episode.
