I think he wasn't making it up because his aunt was Cybill Shepherd, so it's reasonable, and I love the way she looks at him when they meet at the beginning of the ep.

YES. I am okay with them being evil IF it is making them sad to be evil and not if they are just going with it because money and parties. Only if it brings angst.

I'm not sure. Damien gave up the "deep dark family secret" a little too quickly, it seemed. And Cybill didn't react to Jared ordering a gin fizz. Seems like she might've. The Thanksgiving 1999 detail was perfect.

Yes, they need to painfully question their actions. Absolutely!

That's true, it was weird how quickly he told them a thing he didn't need to. It looks oddly edited to me. But maybe there was something else odd between them and he made up a less embarrassing lie.

Mostly the whole thing just makes me want to drink Gin Fizz. Although a lot of the world just makes me want to drink gin fizz to be fair.
