Windowlicker Wednesday

Howdy y'all!

My name is Bug and I will be your new end-of-the-month WTF Wednesday well-wisher...I'm not sure if that's the official title or not, but I'm willing to pretend it is, if you are.  :-P

Let's get our drink on!

Ingredients:
1/3 oz
Jose Cuervo® gold tequila

1/3 oz Seagram's® 7 whisky
1/3 oz amaretto almond liqueur

Instructions:
Curevo first, then Seven, topping off with Amaretto with a lime garnish.  Slam the shot, then bite the lime.  Yumma yumma!  Careful though, these will sneak up on you.

I'll be totally honest, I only picked it for the awesome name.  I drink very, very rarely and have no idea if this is actually "yumma yumma" or not.  But Windowlicker!  How awesome of a name is that?

On to more important things!

When last we checked in with our heroes, Franklin and Bash had just finished wrapping.  ...It's still finished.  Sadly, The Powers That Be have not decided to suddenly change their minds and film another eight years worth of episodes just because they can.  Presumably there was some talk of "lives outside of filming" and "budgets" and "dear heavens have mercy, I miss my family!"  But I could be wrong.

Here, have a picture that serves a heavy-handed metaphor for the vacancies in our souls right now:

Feel free to speculate why there's a Buddha sitting behind Breckin's chair.  Symbolic of his zen personality?  Representative of his upcoming ascension to a higher being?

Also, for those of you who don't stalk follow the twitters of our beloved cast, apparently, Breckin Meyer's new best friend is David Copperfield (the magician -- TV meets real life???), Kumail Nanjiani is doing stand-up all across the US (sorry, non-Americans), and everyone else is being suitably witty and/or low profile.

So!  How was everyone's past week?  Americans, how was your President's Day?  Did you do anything exciting?  Where is everyone from anyways...?  How are we all coping with the fact that we are FINALLY getting season 2...in a matter of months?  Which shows are we watching now in a desperate attempt to fill the empty hole in our lives that is F&B?  Do you think there's any chance we'll get to see any of the cast holding fat puppies or fluffy kittens?  Who do you want to see holding a baby animal?

Go forth!  Discuss amongst yourselves!  :-D

I think you've probably already seen it, but I managed to track down a copy of 'Betrayed...' on DVD. He has the pre-Clueless skater hair and seemed to smile a lot and then look a bit hurt for a while and then he was smiling again. As you can see, I was paying a lot of attention to the actual storyline!

I also found a great website here (http://www.locatetv.com/person/breckin-meyer/14905) that tells me exactly when Breckin will be on my television. I have no idea how it works but so far it's tracked down Betrayed (after I bought the damn DVD!), Go, Franklin & Bash and Robot Chicken. I think it might actually be reading my mind somehow... [is a bit freaked]

(And it also works for MPG (http://www.locatetv.com/person/mark-paul-gosselaar/2863)!)

Argh, lj marked you as suspicious - I think because you linked to websites that aren't livejournal, not because they suspect you might be a danger to Breckin Meyer, I wouldn't worry - and now they keep deleting my replies to you. ::shakes fist weakly at them::

Oh oh, that's a magical website. Mostly it tells me things are going to be on channels I don't have, but all the same.

There are 19 chances to watch Breckin Meyer on TV in the next two weeks

What a beautiful sentence. Kind of life-affirming.

I've never seen Betrayed! That sounds marvellous with the smiling and then maybe being hurt and then smiling. I know smiling is his AMAZING SKILL but god bless them for a little bit of hurt in the mix.

I am so not suspicious! Whether I'm a danger to Breckin is another matter...!

I was convinced you'd have seen Betrayed. It's as bad as you'd expect a True Life movie to be, but it was only 98p on Amazon and they delivered it in less than 48 hours - now that's service!

Oh, well done Amazon! I will buy a copy at once. I always forget to keep checking for things to appear, I always think that if they weren't available when I first looked they're just gone forever.
