Whiskey Sour Wednesday

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz whiskey
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
maraschino cherry for garnish

Preparation:
Pour the bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Shake well.
Strain into a chilled sour glass.
Garnish with the cherry.

So now that we have the alcohol out of the way (I sadly don't have whiskey, but I'll drink hot cacao with crème de menthe later), on to the free for all post!

There's still one prompt left unclaimed for our Holiday Ficlet Fest. And how's everyone doing (or not doing since this is supposed to be anon ... which some of us fail at spectacularly not me) with it? Are your characters getting emo when they should cuddle? Do they cuddle when they should have sex? Are you even writing Franklin & Bash or did your muse decide that you desperately need to write a fix-it for Charles/Erik from X-Men: First Class right now?

We're done with our weekly rewatch of the show, which is depressing and we spent a lot of time bemoaning the fact that they only made ten episodes on Sunday. We still will have a weekly rewatch, though, we just didn't agree on what we want to see yet. Suggestions? Ideas? Tell us.

 But now that we all have refreshed our memory on what happens in season one, what are your whishes for season two? Personally, I hope for more hugs, more daddy!issues, more naked!everyone and if Ellen and Jared could get it on in some closet or so I'd be a happy camper. Just saying.

What I would love is a rewatch of the director's cut of 54 XD But let's face it, chances of it ever actually being released on general sale are next to none :(

But things which are (hopefully) possible in F&B S2 are lots more hugs/couch-cuddling, more crazy Stanton and some solid back-story for everyone. (Are we ever told what Carmen was convicted for?)

Also, a little OT but I have a theory on the different high schools/Double D confusion. Not sure if anybody has said it but what if Jared started out at the same school as Peter but Leonard, being the douche that he can sometimes be, pulled Jared out and transferred him to High Tower so that Peter wouldn't 'drag him down'. But they remained friends because obviously their bromance is too strong to stop :p

I don't think we know anything very specific about Carmen. I think she was a con-woman, but yeah, it would be great to find out what she was convicted of, and how F&B met her and came to move in with her. (I love that they all live in a big house together, I love it.)

I like your high schools theory just because I really really want them to have been to SOME school together. They'd have been SO HAPPY. And also Jared being unhappy at Hightower would have been even sadder if he knew what he was missing.

It does seem strange that even with Dante around and Carmen breaking her parole, her previous convictions weren't mentioned. Some back-story for Pindar would be good too.
