WHY DO THEY EVER LEAVE THE DINER? The diner is amazing. And happy. And safe. And beautiful. IT IS FULL OF GAY LOVE AND INCREDIBLE SMILES. I love that diner.

On the other hand, two episodes without Hanna? Has she been disappeared because I love her and that isn't fair.

This episode also made me wonder about the canon more too... Jared and Peter went to different high schools, so were they friends before? How did they react to the split? I'm filling these gaps in with my own headcanon for now, I guess. ...It's very bromantic and fluffy.


As much as I love this episode, the fact that they didn't attend the same High School TOTALLY screwed with my backstory!fanon. I was like "WHUT?!?". But if you think about it, it only makes their epic bromance/gay love even more epic. That Peter knows all these stuff about Jared and vice versa means that they had to talk about that time a great deal. So now I imagine them going to Junior High together (also because I won't rewrite that part of my backstory!ff *cough*), and then Leonard got fed up with their co-dependency and decided to send Jared to a private school. However, he only succeed in making Jared act up 'cause he missed Peter and having gigantic telephone bills 'cause the boys called each other every single day.

I thought of you! But I think it being Junior High and then them being purposefully split up makes total sense, and I totally agree with how lovely it is that they're still THAT CLOSE when they could easily have been making other friends who they would spend all their time with. And they probably both got teased and stuff for liking someone from the posh/unposh school, and clearly didn't care. I LOVE THEIR LOVE.

I LOVE THEIR LOVE AS WELL! In fact, that's the thing I love most about this show: that they're so close and comfortable with each other. It just makes me smile stupidly all the time.
