Hello Sherlock fan!! Which fandom do you follow? Cannon, Granada, or the T.V. series?

And Issac Asimov! I don't own all his books, but many!

the books, mostly, though i have a soft spot for the Russian Sherlock Holmes and the new film.

my father has every single one. . .i steal them off his bookshelf :D

My daddy is always fond of pointing out that you never know when your money's been in a stripper's G-string, so I know what you mean. I actually do carry around germ-x and wash my hands frequently.

i might. . .and i carry latex gloves in my bag. along with all my other first aid kit stuff.

Wise move. I actually have bandaids, antibiotic cream, cotton swabs, and gauze by my bedside, just in case. We're doing home repair right now and any time I get any kind of scratch, I use peroxide, alcohol, antibiotic cream and a bandaid, just in case I was scratched by a nail.

impressive! i always sanitize cuts as well, just in case. . .i've had enough bad cuts to be a little paranoid.

Ah, well... with me, it's just a case of being around rusty nails and having avoided my shots for about fifteen years now. I despise needs.

My MawMaw's also on immuno-suppressants, so it's become second nature to constantly wash my hands, use sanitizer, etc.

Being paranoid's not necessary a bad thing. :)

I've only read The Cyberiad, but you really can't talk about the evolution of Asimovian Robotics without coming across him a time or two.

The Cyberiad is my favorite!

Lol, Yes! Some people don't appreciate the effort it takes to translate that stuff. I took a robotics lit class at uni so we did a lot of author blow bys. I'm glad Lem made the list.

Very. I stuck the Latin/German/Old English route for languages. Mostly romanised alphabets help a lot. Still its no real excuse for the small margin of East European/Non-Russian lit.

Good luck finding a class. My teacher only got away with it because he had a two year contract and they knew he was leaving anyway.

i'm taking french right now and barely passing. ughhh. foreign languages are not my strong suit.
