Howdy y'all!

My name is Bug and I will be your new end-of-the-month WTF Wednesday well-wisher...I'm not sure if that's the official title or not, but I'm willing to pretend it is, if you are.  :-P

Let's get our drink on!

Ingredients:
1/3 oz Jose Cuervo® gold tequila
1/3 oz Seagram's® 7 whisky
1/3 oz amaretto almond liqueur

Instructions:

Curevo first, then Seven, topping off with Amaretto with a lime garnish.  Slam the shot, then bite the lime.  Yumma yumma!  Careful though, these will sneak up on you.

I'll be totally honest, I only picked it for the awesome name.  I drink very, very rarely and have no idea if this is actually "yumma yumma" or not.  But Windowlicker!  How awesome of a name is that?

On to more important things!

When last we checked in with our heroes, Franklin and Bash had just finished wrapping.  ...It's still finished.  Sadly, The Powers That Be have not decided to suddenly change their minds and film another eight years worth of episodes just because they can.  Presumably there was some talk of "lives outside of filming" and "budgets" and "dear heavens have mercy, I miss my family!"  But I could be wrong.

Feel free to speculate why there's a Buddha sitting behind Breckin's chair.  Symbolic of his zen personality?  Representative of his upcoming ascension to a higher being?

Also, for those of you who don't stalk follow the twitters of our beloved cast, apparently, Breckin Meyer's new best friend is David Copperfield (the magician -- TV meets real life???), Kumail Nanjiani is doing stand-up all across the US (sorry, non-Americans), and everyone else is being suitably witty and/or low profile.

So!  How was everyone's past week?  Americans, how was your President's Day?  Did you do anything exciting?  Where is everyone from anyways...?  How are we all coping with the fact that we are FINALLY getting season 2...in a matter of months?  Which shows are we watching now in a desperate attempt to fill the empty hole in our lives that is F&B?  Do you think there's any chance we'll get to see any of the cast holding fat puppies or fluffy kittens?  Who do you want to see holding a baby animal?

I love how happy Breckin was about David Copperfield. Also MPG linked to a picture of Breckin from the nineties and called it his 'favourite' picture, like he has a whole folderfull on his computer that he looks through sometimes to rank Breckin's hair and smile and stunning capacity for beauty. I might be projecting a little bit onto mpg but whatever.

(I always pick cocktails based on the name, both for these posts and for general drinking purposes, I think it's the Best Way. I also think the addition of amaretto to whiskey will probably make EVERYTHING GOOD even if there is tequila involved.)

I can't believe how few episodes they make at a time. And they let Seth Green come to the set for a bit and everything, so it's not like Breckin would be having withdrawal symptoms. They could have just stayed for another few years and made THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE SO MUCH BETTER.

If Breckin Meyer has gone all Daniel Jackson and ascended to a higher plane then that's NOT FAIR and he can come back right now. Daniel - from stargate - ALWAYS came back, that was the best thing about Daniel. And he came back naked and unconscious. Breckin is actually allowed to have ascended if he comes back naked and unconscious.

Welcome to the madness that is WTF Wednesdays (and awesome cocktail name, btw)!

What is it about that picture of those two empty chairs that makes me want to bawl my eyes out?! I know that now the filming is over we're that much closer to Season 2 airing, but there's something not quite right about knowing that they won't be together every day any more. I hope they'll both get visiting priviledges!

I am filling the F&B-shaped hole in my life with a Breckin Meyer-themed film festival ('Breckfest', which was just lovely!) and by secretly watching terrible 'True Life' movies with a very young Breckin in, where he spends a lot of time being kind of perfect with a side line in 'hurt little bunny'.

So far I'm resisting the urge to start a count down to June, I LOVE that Breckin had a fanboy squee over David Copperfield (he's secretly one of us!) and I continue to hold out hope for some kind of baby animals making an appearance in Season 2, if only to find out if I can actually hear fandom exploding with joy!

oh... and the two empty chairs... first thing I noticed was that MPG's chair is slightly further back than Breckin's, and my dirty brain decided that was so he could get a good view of his bum as he got in and out of his chair. :-P
