Episode Discussion

101 - Pilot

This post is for any and all discussion of the pilot episode! Squee, deep thoughts, random questions, we will take them all. Your ~feelings filtered through the medium of dance, song, .gif, vulcan poetry, absolutely anything.

There weren't many of us for the rewatch, but it was really good fun. The chat room as far as I can work out just stays there for all time, so if people do want to organise other times to chat for whatever reason, feel free to use it whenever.

I loved re-watching this episode because the first time I saw it I was just enjoying it as a new programme in my schedule, blissfully unaware of the immense Jared & Peter love that was about to consume me (in a couple of episodes time!)

It was great to see the start of so many things that go on to become so integral to the rest of the season - The parties at the man cave, Peter and Jared at the diner, the snarky relationship they have with Damien, Jared's attitude towards Janie, the craziness that is Infeld, the list goes on...

For me, I love the fact that this episode gives us naked!Peter and semi-naked!Jared. It's like we were spoiled so early on and then 'The Powers That Be' spectacularly failed to follow up on this! Maybe they're saving it for Season 2? ;o)

Maybe they kept them all for the dvd extras.

The only reason I'll be buying the DVD box set is in the hope of deleted scenes and a decent gag reel. Do not disappoint me, makers of the DVDs!

I'm sure Reed was kidding in that tweet, but it was funny.
